This artificial turf rug does shed a bit initially but doesn't continue to shed. It also had an odor when opening that dissipated after airing out. I purchased this to cover some plywood in the yard that's part of a poorly over designed drain. Works perfectly as a quick, somewhat natural looking solution. While I haven't used this one for a litter box, it is exactly the same as others I've used in litter boxes for my puppies. It's tough and I expect to get years of use out of it.

The grass is harder than I expected, my puppy doesn’t like to use it. However, it maybe only my own case. It is sturdy.

Got this for my back patio to cover a small area. It works well. Sheds a bit at first but then its fine. Not very think but I didn't get it for "barefoot walks". Pets rest on it and I practice my putting from it too.

This turf is ok if you’re just wanting to use it as an accent piece. It doesn’t look super realistic up close because some of the greens in it are so bright. It also doesn’t have a ton of drainage holes so i wouldn’t trust it to drain well in the rain. It comes folded up so you’ll want to leave it laying flat for a bit to get the wrinkles out. It feels comfortable on the feet though and would work great on a covered patio space!

This definitely would not be mistaken for real grass, nor does it feel similar. But it is what I would expect from our local hardware store so I'm good with that. We've been using it in kiddie pools for our whelping dog. Its holding up well to the hose after 3 weeks so far.

I originally bought this to use on my concrete pad with my sofa and chairs but when I noticed that it had drainage holes on the bottom, I thought I'd try it out on a troublesome part of my yard. I placed it on top of a sandy section where we just CANNOT get the grass to grow and subsequently the dog would roll creating a dust storm. I put the carpet it there and moved some of my chairs to create a little sitting area away from the house but still near the pool. It is working! I took this picture days after we had a thunderstorm and as you can see it still looks fresh and green - not dirty!Some bits of the grass did pull off when I unwrapped it but it seems to be okay now.I suggest taking it out of the box in a garage or outside because it does have an odor. (after a few days it was gone)I really am pleased with it, and I wish I ordered a larger size. This one isn't 5x8 , it really measures 4'10" x 7'9".

Grabbed this for our camping trips. It seems well made and is a good size. I have not yet attempted cleaning so that remains to be seen, but so far it appears like it will serve the purpose for which is was acquired.
