Clever Cane

I am very happy with my new cane. What ever ot claims to do, it does, It is very easy to fold up when not needed as well. And it is very sturdy to use while walking.

My husband loves this cane. He feels safe and cane is sturdy on all types of flooring or ground. He likes the flashlight during the night. He likes the bar to help him get up.

The canes nice, not meant for long-term use. Anytime the cane falls over the battery door opens and the batteries fall out. I like the flashlight capability but just can’t keep the batteries in.

AwesThis is a great product in concept only. The fold-down lever really helps when trying to get up from a chair. Love the flashlight. However, this falls down a lot, and as a result, the flashlight doesn't work, then the handle cracked and broke off all within a month. Don't buy this product.

I like this cane because when I am walking from seeing my son or grandson concert in the dark I can use the LED night to help me in areas that are darker than usual. I haven't use the alarm to help, but I do keep hitting it sometimes when I am folding the cane. I even did it in church one time, I just told everyone God was sending me a text message. The only thing I don't like is I am 4'9" tall was 5 feet, as you get older you shrink and I need one more hole as it is just a little too tall for me, but I am finding away around it, just in future put in the extra hole.

My father loves this cane. It brings him a lot of stability. People admire all the features- horn, handle to stabilize when getting up, and the pronged or footed bottom. The only thing that does not appear to work is the light. The battery keeps falling out. I still give it 5 stars because of the stability it brings him and that is most important!

My Husband is the ultimate "Gadget Guy" so after my knee replacement surgery it was no surprise that rather than get a traditional cane he bought this "Inspector Gadget Cane". As he handed it to me the package with a cute childish grin, I knew that I was in-store for a treat. However, after 2 weeks usage, even he is ready to return this cane. First, the cane touts the ability to stand on its own, while this is true there are several caveats. First the floor must be smooth and hard, no carpets, second it will fall over very easily if you walk past it or if there is any type vibration or air movement in your room. When it hits the floor, generally the battery compartment in the handle will pop open and actually eject the 2 batteries inside. The cane handle is constructed of plastic and after 3 days, the button that operates the headlight came off. (Headlight feature sounded rather silly to me, but after the first night of going to the bathroom and not having to turn on the room light, I was a believer!) The security alarm remains a joke though, not loud enough to call for help in an emergency, but works well to call my husband in the other room when I need him. The secondary handle is not sturdy enough to be of significant use like getting out of the car or up from a sitting position. All-in-all, cute gag gift but not made well enough to stand up to the demands of real life use.

This an amazing product, been using it since I got it. Love that I can easily adjust it, I’m only 5’1” and it’s perfect. Also love that I can fold my cane and carry in my purse. The best thing is the night light helps me a lot at night. In addition the handle shape is very comfortable and the support lever is great when I get up from a sitting position. And you are going to love the rotational feet makes it easy for me when walking, getting up or standing. I’m getting one for my mom and will get it for anyone that has a need for a cane ❤️

IF you order this item please note that it is extremely difficult to return. Seller wants you to ship it back without a (free) return label which means YOU are paying to ship it back. The item itself is fine but if the person this is bought for is under 5'3" it will be too tall even at the lowest setting. Also, the batteries power both the light and the alarm. The alarm is in an odd and too easily accessible area on the handle and can be activated by just grabbing the cane by the upright portion. Better to purchase from your local pharmacy and skip the return hassle this has been.
