Great performance and a solid value
I have been using this flashlight frequently for several weeks and have had a great experience with its performance and with the purchase. The flashlights arrived quickly and in nice packaging and were ready to use out of the box. The light is bright and the beam spread is sufficient to easily navigate through pitch black nights in the woods. The light shines bright over a distance and it is by far the best compact LED flashlight that I have owned. I use the light for camping as well as for work on household projects, and the flashlight performs well. I have owned several compact LED flashlights and this one is the brightest, has the longest reach, and best beam spread. The construction is solid and capable for rugged use. We live in the mountains where there are no street lights and we use the lights almost daily to walk on our property or to walk to neighboring home and the compact light has replaced our big bulky lights. Great value and a great product.

Excellent mini tactical flashlight
I wanted a bright mini flashlight to use at my desk to offset my vision loss from Macular Degeneration so I purchased a Aohoyaca brand mini flashlight from Amazon with a rechargeable, supposedly lithium battery, which turned out to be a very substandard version of a (non)long lasting battery. It worked fine for the first couple of months that I used it, only requiring recharging every 3 or 4 days. Then it started going dead after recharging with only a few minutes use, so it wouldn't hold a charge, something unexpected from a lithium battery that had only endured a couple dozen charge cycles. So I went looking for a better alternative when I found this GearLight unit. I have a couple of larger GearLight tactical flashlights with removable 18650 rechargables that have performed well and lasted over 4 years, so I knew them to be reputable. One thing I like about the minis is that they use a regular AA battery rather than using a cheap rechargeable. So I ordered two and after 4 months, they're still working perfectly and the batteries are lasting long than I thought they would. I would highly recommend the GearLight if you're in the market for a small-form flashlight. At roughly $12 a piece, the price is fair and the build quality and performance are solid.

Good, bright flashlight. Larger than expected.
I compared these flashlights to one I purchased several years ago, which uses the same AA battery. I found these lights to be significantly brighter. In addition, I like the zoom feature which allows a wide field of view up close as well as better "throw". In short, I'm well pleased with this purchase and can recommend these flashlights without reservation.

Easy to carry brightness
A pint sized two pack that delivers! This was my second purchase of this product. Likes: ☻ small but bright ☻ three light settings ☻ twist design zoom feature ☻ it is designed for water, weather, and shock resistance ☻ the anti roll feature ☻ pressing firmly on the power button turns the light on and off ☻ a gentle press on the power button advances to the next setting ☻ if left off for 10 seconds the setting defaults to high ☻ the front strike bezel is a plus (not tested) ☻ it is compact and lightweight and may be carried easily ☻ a strong belt clip provides carrying options ☻ it is powered by 1 AA battery (2 were included in the box) ☻ two flashlights come in the box ☻ the price is okay (I purchased first in March, 2018 and subsequently in June, 2019 for $12.99) Dislikes: ☹ one of the flashlights has a functional issue in that it does not default to the high setting when left off for more than 10 seconds, and also exhibits a similar problem when cycling through the settings ☹ there is a difference in the quality of the light emitted by the two flashlights; one has a yellowish tint while the other emits a crisper and whiter light beam note: both of the dislikes are relative to the same flashlight Suggestion: ☹ price could go a little lower This flashlight is sufficiently bright, easy to operate, comfortable and compact enough to carry on my person daily if I choose to do so. While during the tests that I ran I did encounter functional setting issues as well as a yellowish light color with one of them, I have not had any real issues while using them for the purpose that I purchased them. The lights have never failed me and the issues stated above never came into play during my routine use. It is only when I compared the two lights that the differences became noticeable to me. So the bottom line is that I am happy with these purchases. While this was my second purchase of this product I do not know if I would purchase this product again as there may be better choices available now.

Cheap and bright.
These are great to throw into the car, a backpack, or drawer. they use 1 AA battery that lasts a decent length of time and is easily replaced. I've ordered several of these and have not been disappointed. Some buyers have stated they received non-working lights or lights that failed quickly but I haven't been plagued with that. They are cheap enough that when one finally does fail I'll toss it out and order some more.

Great little flashlight
Built well, durable and bright. Perfect for aviation work when you need to peek into the important places without fumbling around for a light. Clip is strong, push button solid and overall lightweight and tucks into a pocket or on your belt. Love these so much I have 4 in different places.

Most Portable Model
I bought the S2500, the S1000, and the M3 models. The S2500 is a good, bright light, but the weight and length made it impractical for my purposes. The S1000 did not have as good light as the S2500, but its lighter weight and shorter length works well for me. Now, the M3 does not have as good of light as either the S2500 or the S1000, but it provides enough light to see your keys in the dark, and to see your door's locks in the dark. It has a built in clip that makes it easy to clip onto a belt, trousers, a shirt pocket, a handbag, a book bag, etc., so it can always be in easy reach anytime you need it. It requires only 1 AA battery, and it is quite short; thus, it is also quite lightweight. I decided to return the S2500 even though it is a good torch for a good price. I will keep the S1000 even though I wish it had the S2500's lumens. Not sure about the M3. I will probably keep the M3, though because it is so small and handy for so many situations. Before you buy, be sure to think about whether lumens are the most important thing. If weight and length are very important, too, you will probably opt for the S1000 over the S2500. The M3 is a great choice if you only need minimal lumens to see your way around a dark room, to find your keys, or to see your door's lock in the dark. The M3 is not a particularly good choice for walking at night or for seeing from a good distance away. The S2500, S1000, and the M3 are all good products for the right applications. Assess your needs well before you order.
