There is not a better simple bike bell for this price. If you're a minimalist who likes vintage-look things, this is the bike bell for you. I was really impressed by how nice the bell sounded, and it's very loud as well. Easy to hear from a distance. Haven't had any issues with it jamming up yet, so we'll see what happens when it spends some more time in the elements.

A great classical replacement for cheap bell that came with bike. Great sound, good construction, very fair price. Fits, looks and works well.

Bought a Crane brass bell before this because we really wanted the brass to stand out. However, the brass has a different ring, it sounded very harsh. With this bell, the ring is sweeter and gives you that vintage feel. Don't expect super nice packaging though. No problem with this bell.

Very good bell. Has a nice ring that is loud enough. It has been through humidity and rain and has kept up well so far (couple of months).

Fit easily on my husband's 12 speed racing bike and my beach cruiser. Bell is loud. However, it tends to get stuck and not want to ring, which is kinda bad when you're trying to bicycle where people don't pay attention to their surroundings, ride 2 (or more) across or tend to drift all over the bike path. What I need is an air horn, like the kind they have on trains.

Works great, easy to attach to and adjust on bike. Like the all metal design.

Thought this was going to great, but it broke the first day I had it on my bicycle! Let down! Not sure if I got a duff one.

Like many a baby boomer, I grew up with a single speed bicycle, complete with mudguards, streamers and of course, a bell. Fast forward to early twenties and thirties and it was all about spandex and speed. And no bell. God forbid. I recently returned to my roots and bought a classic English bicycle, the commitment to miles is whatever I choose, not a “century” every week. And in looking for the classic bell to adorn the handlebars, I happened upon the Rompak Bell. It’s chime instantly brings me back to my youth and now sitting more upright than I have in years, it’s a pleasure to jingle a tone to unsuspecting pedestrians out walking their dogs. Whether for old or young or new to bikes, the chime has a function. Ring it with pride.
