I was gonna just hook up the 24 volt LED's to the power supply of my 3d printer. But, I opted to go this route and spare the wear and tear on the printer power supply. Glad I did. Not only can I run these lights without having to turn the printer on. It's a very stable and non flickering light being emitted.

I wrote this similar review for another LED driver here on Amazon, but it applies to this product as well. I liked that it felt solid, was easy to install, and worked well enough, but it was not "instant-on" and therefore did not work for my application. I am powering a strip of LEDs from a standard 110VAC off/on wall switch and I installed this 60W LED driver unit inline so that when the switch is turned on, the driver supplies the DC voltage to my strips of LEDs for undercabinet lighting. This driver technically did its job correctly, however there was almost a 3.5 second delay between turning the switch on and the light coming on, which is highly aggravating. I was able to find another LED driver from a big box hardware store with an orange theme that fulfilled my need for instant-on.

It works great, measures at 24v, the only issue, and reason for 4 stars and not 5, is the little adapter thing. There's hardly any Continuity from the cord to the terminals. I can't use it as is because of that fact.

i use this for my RO water filter. I had to use the adapter since my RO system was a different size plug. glad they had the adapter
