Steal for $40!!!
This ship is amazing! We bought it for my son when it first came out. Seeing it at this price now makes me want to cry, ouch! Half what we paid. Same as his space rover pro builder. However he loves them. Here is the deal, Mega Construx, formerly megabloks does not organize their pieces like Legos into bags, and the instructions are confusing for some people. Once you are familiar with their system, and you get your own down (my son organizes his pieces into bowls according to color and size.) then it’s pretty smooth. Their sets are SO unique and all my boys live them! Their people are far superior to Lego, and honestly, I like he detail in their sets. That being said, the building appeal may not be for younger kids for larger sets. Stick with the PokeMon sets, etc. this ship is a STEAL at this price! Snag it!

Unique, well-made, and fun to play with
We are a LEGO family, and most alternative-brand building toys (Sluban, Cobi, Mega Construx) have been a disappointment. Also, we typically don't do ships. But we tried this one just because it was so cool-looking, and had a lot of pieces for the money. It came together well, although the pieces do have to be snapped in with some force (more than one needs for a typical Lego set). My kid's thumbs were a bit raw after he finished it. However, it has held together well and he plays with it often. Also it stands out on the shelf in his room, among all the Star Wars and Ninjago stuff.

Beautiful and a Total Steal! Goodbye Overpriced Legos!
This is by far my favorite Mega Construx. I have been collecting since they rolled out Mega Bloks Call of Duty. I am 33 years old and a child at heart. I am also a middle school history teacher and so collecting cool things like this is a regular practice of mine. The detail, color, and instructions made building very fun and the conclusion very satisfying. Most of all, I was surprised I got it as cheap as I did. Mattel, thank you for a great product and I am eagerly waiting for more history builds to add to my classroom.

Beautyful longship strongly reminding me of a certain TV show
The ship is a nice and sturdy build which features the option to raise and lower the sail as well as using the oars or storing them at the sides. Doing so is probably a little to difficult for many kids, but other than that this set certainly offers a good play value.Building the set is probably best done with the help of an adult or older sibling, as some steps are likely to be a little to difficult for younger children. The bricks themselves are great quality and although historically not quite accurate the figures make for fun play.

Boats n Rows
Mostly solid build, nice figures & overall worth it. Design isn't too complicated, with only a couple spots where the instruction images can cause a bit of confusion (bad angles in the illustration). Much of the build time will be spent organizing or finding the pieces... no numbered bags with this set. Couple "hollow" spots where attaching sections might cause a bit of collapse if you push too hard, but nothing major. It's quite a bit more challenging than the Train Heist, but not too difficult. Go for it...

Looks really impressive
My kids got this from Santa and loved it. It will take several hours to build (995 pieces) and has a lot of nice features to it. It will likely require adult assistance for assembly. The end result looks really impressive (Lego had a viking ship in production several years ago but it was not nearly as realistic). One should nevertheless note that some of the typical side effects of Mega Bloks (compared to Lego) are still there - some of the pieces fit too tight and assembly will hurt one's fingers, some details however are attached just too weakly to endure playing etc.All-in-all both me and the kids like us having it!

Quick delivery, beautiful toys.
Love how quick the service is, my package arrived ahead of time, not only that, it was delayed for clearance and was resolved in a matter of minutes and yet still managed to arrive ahead of time. The toy itself, amazing, love the detail of the characters, they are so distinguished. The movements and poses on the characters are incredible, and the weapons, love the weapons. The build itself was long, but that is the reason I bought the product, for a nice long build. I have two ships now and they are looking so beautiful side by side.

Awesome Build Prjoect
Had this sitting on my Wishlist since I had seen the "Train Attack" at my workplace. Sort of easy to build with the instructions. Does take some finisse with the finer points of getting the sails in place but overall took me something like 8hrs to build. still a great build and very therapeutic for the price tag and kudos to Megablox for doing one of a Longship for the ProBuilder's line.

Perfect for history buffs
To summarise, this is such an excellent set.I have admittedly been slightly obsessing over vikings, and so this was a must-buy for me. The build is, as I said, excellent, though a lot of small parts, and does get very fiddly (especially the rigging). No stickers, so all patterns and shields are prints. Always a bonus. Only had one piece missing, and I did have a spare. Though that isn't the fault of the seller or Amazon. The figures are incredible. Accurate weapons, all individual colours, three of them even have tattoo prints. I cannot fault any of them. The female warrior (known as a shield maiden by the vikings) has a cape with a print on. Like I said, cannot fault the details. The shields really pop too. There's 14 of them total, all with unique prints.Overall, I am truly impressed by this set. The ship is looking historically accurate, as are the figures and their weaponry. If you're a history buff like me, this is definitely worth a purchase.

Ensemble magnifique
