solar charge controller
I both like and dis-like this charger. It arrived in great shape, no problems. I went thru instructions and installed the charger. It came up with errors and could not get it configured to 24 v operation. Tried the MT50 LCD console included and the pc cable but action and result did not add up. Sent off for support help but nothing has come back from them. Went looking for other sources, also no help. Finally decided to believe one of the old reviews that support was useless. Was about to return the device and try another product when I tried using both pc and MT-50 console at same time. The pc allowed me to enter the user defined parameters for battery bank. Then MT-50 to save the data and it finally switched to 24 Volt and started to work. I like what it does but would not buy again, instructions are useless, and support finally sent me a 1 line answer to follow the instructions Ha Ha.

Works Great - If you need a solar controller buy this one.
Only reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the less than clear instructions. The most difficult aspect of the install was plugging in the battery temperature sensor (darn hard to get at). This controller is a great value, especially considering the remote is included. Granted had to purchase a longer cable so the MT50 could mount over my Magnum's remote. Ditched the MT50 base plate and used a hole saw for a very clean installation. With the remotes side by side I have noted a slight difference in the displayed parameters. With the voltage less than a 1/4 volt off confirmed by my who cares. This controller is a workhorse working over time to keep the state of charge on my 4 6-volt flooded batteries topped off from my 610 watts of panels. Only real con is no easy way to reprogram controller for my planned update to Lithium Ion batteries. EPEVER has several instructional videos on you tube I hope will help with this. Buy one both you and you wallet will like it.Edit: Updated my 4 6-volt FLA batteries with 4 100 Ah Lithium (LFP) batteries. Reprogramming the controller to charge them was easy. So far has been working great the last 3 weeks.

Doesn’t compensate
I liked this controller at first but after I have been using It a few months I don’t like that it holds its cycle no matter what if at ten am your batteries are completely charged it goes into float or what ever it calls it, if I use the batteries a lot it does not compensate and recharge so at the end of my day my batteries are not full as my other system controller brand blank intentionally compensates and as long as the panals produce power my batteries remain full
