We were looking for a replacement for our 4 years old FOSCAM 3501 and bought 2 other monitors trying to replicate it at the lower cost level, but couldn't find anything. Until this camera. Which appears to be the same as the FOSCAM 3501, but with a new name, permanent stand (genius) and the ability to play lullabies. YAY! I'm so happy to have found this product. What I like about this monitor: The VOX (voice activation). My husband and I are light sleepers, so the ability to turn off the sound and feel safe knowing it will make noise the second she cries or fusses is KEY! I also love that I can move the camera around using the parental unit, and the PRICE! The other monitors we tried were the updated FOSCAM which was a vast downgrade from the 3501 (strange that they would make a product worse) and a Motorola that was laggy when watching night mode, didn't light up the entire screen in night vision, couldn't move the camera without being in the room to do it manually (meaning when my kid moves to a different part of the crib, I couldn't find her), and didn't have a feature to turn off the sound or have the screen activate when the sound hit a certain level. I know higher end motorola models would probably improve on my negatives for this product, but I wasn't willing to spend 200+ for a monitor.

10 months update-Excellent customer service in resolving the monitor issue. Just received a new set and everything is ready to go! They offer one year warranty on the monitor if any issues arise.I’ve been looking for a quality monitor for a while after going through two in recent months. I appreciate the quality of the monitor and the packaging. And the clear English instructions compared to other cheap ones on the market, which don’t last long at all. The only drawback I have is that the parent monitor doesn’t have an eco mode, which means when it’s in VOX mode there’s no sound until it’s activated by baby crying. The monitors we had before had the sound on while the monitor is off in power saving mode. This is especially helpful at night since we don’t want to have the bright screen on at all times.

This camera is excellent! We’ve used it in a home with plaster walls and cement walls and the signal was strong and consistent. The 360 degree camera works very well to keep an eye on our active toddler and the battery life is great. I do leave it plugged in at night but this hasn’t affected the battery.We run a sound machine and our old monitor didn’t turn off and on when it picks up sound like this one does. It is nice that we don’t have constant sound but that it turns on when my son makes noises. The only downside is that it is extra sensitive and does pick up cars that drive by outside on occasion.

Ordered this because my foscam monitor stopped charging. This one looks and functions exactly like my foscam so I thought I’d try to connect this monitor to my existing foscam cameras and voila! Worked right away. This company must have purchased the hardware and software from foscam. Great price, great functions! The pan and tilt is clutch for us.

Doesn't pair with add on camera, echoes terrible, very poor range, no response from seller when I reached out for help. Now I have to return and order a different option.

This is my third Nannio monitor. I had two of the previous models for only a few months before the screens turned off and never turned back on. Customer service was great, they immediately sent me new ones. They told me the new model (Comfy Plus) was coming out soon and they would send me that. That’s what I currently have. The night vision is great. The pan tilt is great. The sound is great. The battery life is terrible. I’ve had it for 5 months and the battery only lasts 3 hours. I have it switching back between two cameras, I’m not sure if that uses more battery or not. They are claiming long battery life but for me that is not the case. I got the comfy Plus when it first came to amazon so maybe I got the first batch and they fixed the problem since then? The battery life should definitely be longer. The customer service was excellent but I’m having a bad run with this monitor.

The unit looks well made. The screen is not very clear (more like a cell phone screen from 10 years ago) The sound wasn't bad. I returned the unit as it said that it had a 1000 foot signal and yet i couldn't get more than 20 feet without losing signal!! It was not going to reliable for me at all.

I had been looking at a well-known brand of video baby monitor at a national retail chain store, but decided to do some research online before purchasing ... I am so glad I did. The Nannio was only slightly cheaper than the other brand but I was amazed at what else I got for my money. The Nannio has a 3.5 inch screen (compared to the other's 2.4 inch) and more surprising was the fact that it had a remotely controlled pan and tilt camera with digital zoom (so much easier to set/change the right position than with a fixed camera. I have seen other brands with these features costing two and a half times more. Setup was simple and the signal quality was excellent even from the far end of the back yard to the far end of the house. Sound quality is very good and the video is sharp and clear. Some reviewers say the night vision is not fantastic but they may be expecting too much (I have full-HD outdoor security cameras and even with them one cannot compare the full colour of day vision to the black and white of night vision). We have not really used the temperature sensor and feed time alarm yet, but I think they could be quite handy. Overall, the unit has many useful features, is great quality and extremely well priced. I would definitely recommend it.UPDATE: It has been my experience that this company will go above and beyond to ensure complete customer satisfaction!

This is the second Nannio I purchased as had to send the first back as the screen was blank.This one seems to also be faulty as th VOX system only seems to pick up certain sounds but not my actual baby. So if a car door closes outside our bedroom window the VOX comes on but if my baby crys the VOX doesn't activate, very strange. The customer service is extremely poor and I still haven't heard back about this issue. Won't be buying another.

Great product. I have the HelloBaby HB32 which has been good but some things arent great. Ive been happier with the Nannio because- Night vision is actually better than the HelloBaby. The HelloBaby is still good and the quality is better than whats in my photo. I feel the Nannio is clearer though. If your monitor is far from the baby then I think the night vision wont be great as I tried this about 1.5-2m away and I couldnt make out much detail.- The minimum sound on the HelloBaby is loud. I wanted something that had a few more levels to choose from which the Nannio gives.- The range is better in the Nannio. We still cant get it consistently working downstairs in our lounge as we have a long narrow house and thick dry wall. The cameras are right next to each other and in the corner of the room so theres a lot of interference. Its better than the HelloBaby by a little regarding that even though the specs say its not as good.- I like that the camera can be moved remotely- VOX was important for me because we play white noise in our babies room and I dont want to hear that constantly.Dislikes (sort of)- The temperature reading is 1-2 degrees off the HelloBaby and I think the HelloBaby could be more accurate but its just a guess.

It amazes you with its affordable price as unboxed product looks well engineered and sleek. It was easy to pair and was ready to use in minutes.Compared it with another monitor I am using and it amazed me with its crisp display, refer pic 1.Temperature reading is accurate, see pic 2. You will save $$$ not buying room thermometer.She loves the tilt/pan function !(Really handy to track cheeky bubs changing their position while sleeping !)I love the range (outdoor bbq while bub is fast asleep ) and design !Baby loves the inbuilt lullabies !*Night mode could be better but is not a deal breaker.

Purchased the classic model for our baby due mid Dec. Arrived extremely quick interstate I think 3 days. I unpackaged and tested out just recently. Purchased this monitor knowingly that it does not connect through wifi due to the ability to literally take it and set it up anywhere without having to rely on wifi signal.Firstly for the setup is very easy, for the price you pay the camera quality is very good day and night mode (cannot compare to expensive models but i would not really see a practicle need to have it any clearer) the pan and tilt work well, the camera alone provides a good span of the room without the use of this, can only see a use for this once baby becomes more active, however nice feature to have. Tested the signal range, went to the furthest point of our backyard and connection was fine, only was intermittantly lost when i hid behind my shed.In summary you really cant go wrong with this monitor for the price, look forward to utilising it properly when baby arrives.
