I loved the color combo suggestions reminding me of some plants that I was able to easily find. Gorgeous pictures. Great job identifying each plant needed and describing the ideal planting conditions. Good tips about keeping your new container arrangements healthy and long lasting. Full of helpful tips, easy to follow directions, and beautiful photographs. Highly recommend.

Good hints, Great pics , informative on the flower/landscaping front for pros and newbie alike , just picturing the flower boxes and pocket gardens on your abode is worth a look . We can all dream a bit and this is more productive than playing the lottery

If your into creating big displays in your garden, front porch, or walkways , this is the book to get your imagination running wild.

I do container gardening on my deck only but have planter in strategic places around my house. I enjoyed the book .It has great photos and ideas on how to put together stunning pots and explains the pros and cons of using different types of planters (what they are made of plastic ,cement ,resin etc. ) Also tells you which plants do well in containers. I enjoy the book and am glad I purchased it.

I have been collecting many books on container gardening recently for seminars I was giving, and of them all, this book "Container Gardening: 250 Design Ideas and Step-by-step Techniques" was really superior. The pictures are breathtaking and all the design ideas were carefully explained and were definitely doable. they used plants that are available unlike some books that use more exotic plants. I had a good experience buying this book, too. It came very quickly and was a very good price. All in all, I give this all the stars available!!!! If you only want to get one book on container gardening, this would be the one.

Very informative for a beginner. Vast range of subjects with instruction. Can't wait to put it to use!

The pictures were very pretty and plentiful. However, this book was not especially helpful. Nearly all of the plant materials used are hard to come by. Would've been nice to have at least a section devoted to containers you could put together with plants found at most gardening centers. Also, photos show the 'after' results of many weeks/months of growth. Would've been nice to see what the newly planted container gardens look like so as not to discourage folks new to container gardening when what they've planted isn't looking so great at first.

Great ideas and illustrations but unfortunately for the American market

I wanted to start container gardening. I had no idea how to start. Of all the books I checked out, this one was the best in every way. It is truly a step-by-step technique & offers so many ideas of what works. If you can only buy one book on container gardening then I highly recommend this book. You will not be disappointed.
