Great value item!
I bought this item to accompany the Coospo BC107 bike computer that I purchased at the same time.During winter I had used a smart turbo trainer and Zwift to get me through the bad weather so when it came to springtime I was looking to replicate the stats on the road.Combining these two items I was able to monitor my cadence during my rides. The sensor fits onto the crank arm securely by using one of the provided rubber rings. These hold the sensor in place and I have no issues with movement or falling off despite being on several 'dodgy' road surfaces.Linking the 2 devices was super easy and everytime you ride the bike, the sensor 'wakes' with movement and pairing is automatic. The sensor itself is dual purpose as can be easily turned into a speed sensor and attached to the front wheel hub, I have yet to do this and use the speed via GPS.Both items are a fraction of the cost of some of the bigger brands but some of their features I didn't need so was happy to go with Coospo and I'm glad I did.The cadence has been invaluable for me as I continue to learn how best to use the data available.I've waited a while to review the sensor so I could use it a few times and I can say I'm happy with the performance. No issues on rough terrain or in the wet, the sensor continues to impress.

Useful, lightweight, VFM
A great little device overall, delivered sensibly packaged, fairly easy to fit and extremely lightweight and discreet, you barely know it’s there. Connects well to my phone app but haven’t yet tested my Garmin BC as its on my other bike out on loan - hoping that when I do it works just as well, as I’d rather have that on my handlebars than my phone.I have had several cycle computers over the years and realised I am most interested in my peak and average speeds (the red led when setting it up via the battery) so that is what I use it for, and it seems very accurate so far. I can’t really comment on indoor training apps as I never use them, bikes are for the great outdoors! One thing I do really love though is that I’ve cycled in the rain already and it’s been splashed through puddles and soaked completely for a sustained period - and continues to work perfectly!Considering the price, this seems like a bargain device, and I’m now considering getting a second to fit to the crank for cadence. Great little biking accessory, great VFM.

Easy installation, easy use!
What a great product. Much better value than the main brands but just as effective.I purchased this as a speed sensor for my rear wheel while my road bike is mounted on a turbo trainer. I selected the speed sensor option without trouble. This will be fiddly if you want to change from speed to cadence but its not difficult. The only caution is the indicator light that shows which option you have selected doesn't stay on for long. It had gone off before I flipped it over to check the first time. So remember its on the other side from the battery and flip it over, don't stand there staring at it like I did.It was incredibly simple to attach to the wheel hub. I had it synchronised with my Garmin Vivoactive in seconds. Now when I ride, a couple of spins of the wheel wakes it up and connects to the watch and off I go. Super simple. I've done three rides so far and no issues.

Very good price and confirmed it works with Garmin & Bkool
My carbon road bike has the wireless Garmin Cadence sensor on it, which works with Zwift and Bkool indoor cycling apps using Ant+, as well as my Garmin Edge 520 for outdoor rides.I've just started using an old alloy bike on my Tacx Vortex Smart Trainer and found the trainers cadence readings very flakey. I didn't want to bother swapping my wireless sensor between bikes all the time so thought I'd try a cheaper alternative to the Garmin to use with the indoor trainer. For £15 this is a brilliant bit of kit. Simple to set up, a good range of bands for mounting on the crank, and it was picked up immediately by the Bkool app on my PC via Ant+ and also by my Garmin 520 computer when I tried it on an outside ride. Accuracy seemed fine, though I'm no expert. Certainly much better than the smart turbo trainer's estimatations. At this price I might buy another of these to keep as a spare, or to try as a speed sensor on my carbon road bike.Highly recommended.

Lasted one ride, fell apart on the second!
* Poor design. It attaches with a strong band that wraps around the crank arm and wraps round hooks on the sensor. These are really small and delicate and I'm assuming are what broke and had my sensor fall off and vanish!* If you're going to use it as a cadence sensor then I'd think twice due to the design. If you just want it as a speed sensor to attach tot he read hub then it may be ok (it's a faff to attach though). Now the plus points...* It was pretty easy to set up and pair with RidewithGPS app on my Android phone and appeared to work pretty well. Unfortunately it snapped off on the second ride.* The seller gave me a full refund with no quibbles, otherwise this would've received a 1 star rating!

Not for a spin bike.
Very easy to pair with wahoo app, and easy to attach with the bands included. It also uploads directly to strava from wahoo app with is great. However, I have it attached to a spin bike, couldn't notice the red or blue light originally, so first workout was speed for me. Its attached to the crank on the pedal. Not accurate at all reading. Tried again with cadence, and its not accurate either. Maybe with the facility to have both on it might work better, but for the purpose of a spin bike I would say no this isn't the right product.
