Sentimental Questions
Cards are well made. The questions are fairly thought provoking but not controversial - this is a good balance for “traditional” relatives who won’t appreciate spicy questions. As an American Born Chinese (ABC) I’ve been looking for ways to start conversations with my grandparents so this is exciting. I have not played with them yet so I can’t vouch for the Chinese translation being accurate in context though.

Perfect for my parents and me
Took my parents on their first vacation to the mountains and it opened up a lot of conversation and memory sharing while allowing both of us to explore English and Cantonese. The bilingual feature made my parents a lot more comfortable when discussing the answers and made them feel seen and included.

Learn about someone you love
I bought this for my son and daughter in law as well as my daughter and son in law and both are raving about how easy it was to open up and talk about something they may not have thought of sharing or maybe a hard memory….. most def recommend as a tool for connecting

For anyone with parents
First off, I am not the child of immigrants. I went through about half the deck with my Mother in the interest of simply want to know more about her. It did yield some surprising results. The second half or so is activities some of which can be a little more difficult when you don't live near each other. I think it was a little pricey for what the deck is, but priceless in knowing more about your parents and the environment that they came from.
