Used this near daily over the course of around a year.Bought this for £43.64 originally, the price has gone up quite a lot since then.I sketch in pen and have not had many issues with the paper. More flowy ink tends to peek through to the other side of the paper so I wouldn't recommend using any wet media unless you don't mind not using the other side of the page and put a barrier between the pages to prevent it bleeding through other pages.Things like alcohol markers could be used in the same way.Pencils and ballpoint pens work great in this though.I did find from using this that just from it's own weight the spine and hard cover has started to come apart, there is a large tear down the side of the spine on one side and the black covering has worn away down the spine and is showing the card base underneath.Before I bought this I compared the page count to the cost for other sketchbooks and found this one to be cheaper than buying a stack of regular sketchbooks.Really good book for motivating you to draw more though, oh, and as long as you have something comfortable to sit it on as it will definitely bruise your legs! I recommend caution when moving it too as I managed to pull a muscle in my arm by not picking it up properly. It also has the potential to do harm if dropped on anything since it's so heavy!

The book is ENORMOUS. Like other reviews I'd seen - despite knowing the measurements when I ordered it - it really is larger than life! The paper seems reasonable quality, and comparing the cost of buying the same amount of drawing paper as separate smaller sketchbooks, I think it makes good value. I plan to use it for an ongoing project over the next year or so, and having it all in one book is perfect for me.However, it arrived in a quite a shabby state, looked like it had been kicked round a warehouse. One corner of the cover is torn and the inside cover is torn the length of the binding. I suspect it's partly down to the way it's bound + the weight of the pages puts too much strain on the binding. If I didn't need it for a project beginning this week, I'd return for a refund/replacement. As it is, I'll repair the binding and cover, but if you're buying as a gift I'd choose a sketchbook that has more consistently good reviews.

I never buy sketchbooks unless they are archival. This product is listed as having archival paper. It isn’t. Within 3 months of the sketchbook being in my studio, the sides (where the pages are exposed to light) have turned yellow. The paper underneath the cover (i.e. the ones not exposed to light) are still white. This is the only sketchbook I have which has done this, and I’ve had my other sketchbooks for years.Also, the spine is weak. I’ve only completed about 20 pages and I’m already afraid of opening the book.

I like the sketch book. It is ideal for drawing in pen and pencil.

This sketchbook is awesome!! Buy it you won't regret it, the paper is of good quality and the book is just huge! I was astounded by the sheer size and weight of it, not something I'd ever carry around but good nonetheless

Love this book. Pages are good quality. Didn't realise how heavy the book would be. Still very please with it though. Would definitely recommend buying it.
