Easy to swallow
These are easy to take supplements. Not too large abs easy to swallow. I didn't have to break the tablets to take them on this occasion which was convenient.I hadn't heard of Boswellia before but through some research I found it's helpful as an anti inflammatory. Boswellia is also beneficial for reducing cartilage loss and can be handy as a natural painkiller.I occasionally get joint pain and I feel while taking these supplements the discomfort is slightly reduced. I don't normally take painkillers but finding a herbal supplement that can help with the discomfort was very impressive. I'd recommend giving it a try but keep in mind that each person will respond differently to herbal treatments. I recommend keeping an open mind and having patience x

Not As Effective
As I have gotten older and my joints and muscle don't quite work as well as they once did, I have started taking Boswellia. If you do any kind of research on supplementation for joint inflammation, then Boswellia usually comes up. I have used it for a while and a good source of the ingredient usually works very well.I have given this product low marks for 2 reasons. One I really dislike the taste of this product. It is extremely metallic and one that has no bearing on the usual taste, of boswellia. This leads me to my second dislike, this is not as effective at helping inflation as my usual brand. Personally I am unsure how much of the active ingredient this product has, as it certainly does not do what my other source of boswellia does.My assessment of this product is that it has a strange taste and it is not as effective as my usual brand. I find it hard to recommend this product.

GMP manufactured but not all excipients are named - so I will not know exactly what I am consuming.
The H&C Boswellia Extract arrives in a recyclable (PET-1) plastic bottle - there are 60 tablets in the bottle.Printed on the label is the expiry date (06/2024) and confirmation that this product is manufactured by GMP - which is important to ensure product quality. There are other certifications on the bottle which I cannot decipher. The ingredients are boswellia serrata (225mg) and the extracts should supply 65% boswellic acid (146mg). The other ingredients are lactose and sodium bicarbonate in unknown concentrations plus other unnamed excipients. There are a number of different boswellic acid molecules following the extraction and they have different therapeutic effects. Also, the dose in this preparation the dose is a little low compared to doses used in clinical trials if you take only one tablet per day. With respect to the other ingredients, I prefer to know the sodium content and all the excipients. I am not keen on taking a product when I do not know what the excipients are.I believe that the terpenoid molecules that make up boswellic acid do have therapeutic benefits both for humans and other mammals - such as dogs and cats but would I buy this GMP preparation? Well, the price point is fine but most probably not, as although I am impressed that it is a GMP product I would most probably look on Amazon for a product with named excipients and possibly without sodium bicarbonate.

Good for arthritis pain
This stuff is a good for helping with arthritis pain. It takes down swelling, makes the joints more mobile and relieves pain - to a certain extent. It's not a cure-all but it certainly helps.I sometimes get cysts in my arthritic joints, especially when he joints are growing and enlarging and this stuff took down the swelling within four days of taking it. Even Ibruprofen did nothing to help as much as this did. I'm staying on it as long as it's working - even if it's for the rest of my life!

Fell well below my expectations
I've used Boswellia products for years. Anyone familiar with it will know it has a very distinctive taste and fragrance. These are fast dissolve tablets yet there are no instructions as to whether these should be dissolved in water or under the tongue. These have a very metallic taste and are overpowered by the sodium bicarbonate. I cannot detect the flavour or aroma of Boswellia at all. I actually couldn't stomach the tablet due to the metallic taste. This concerns me as having taken Boswellia previously in pure powder form as a food supplement requiring a large scoop, there doesn't appear to be much Boswellia in these tablets at all considering the use of sodium bicarbonate, lactose and excipients. I can't see how it would be effective and it seems like a waste of money to me.

Helps my joint pains
I’ve recently started to suffer with arthritis so I got these tablets to see if they could potentially ease the pain which I feel I have noticed a slight benefit. Currently priced at £8.99 which I feel is pretty reasonable.

Sigh
My initial review talked about all the health benefits of Boswellia Serata but our overlords don't want anyone talking about that stuff so I'm having to resubmit my thoughts. My thoughts are Boswellia is incredible stuff - if you want to take your health into your own hands, this is a great place to start. Have a look online (some websites still actually allow things like that) and be amazed. So, highly recommended.

Easy to swallow
The tablets are small in size and easy enough to swallow. You are getting 60 here and if you stick to the recommended serving size of one then they will last you around 2 months. Pretty good value for money at under a tenner. You get a decent expiry date of around 18 months so more than enough time to use this supplement up. Certainly one to consider for your joint health. It is not marked suitable for vegetarians or vegans and the latter will want to avoid as it contains lactose on the tablets.
