Fantastic Mod!!! Well worth it.
This made a HUGE improvement! Eliminated the hiss/noise and dramatically improved the tone and usability! Mod took a couple hours. Takes some intermediate soldering skills.

Worked ok, weird values
The mod quieted the hiss on the pedal, which was great, but the slider effects on the high frequencies were VERY subtle. There were a few contradictions and weird part values in the kit. I messaged Mr Fromel on multiple platforms with questions requesting clarification, and didn’t receive any reply. If I had to do it over again, I’d choose another kit company. Not sure I’d buy any further Fromel products given that an email response was too much trouble.

Great upgrade for your GE-7 equalizer!
You need to know how to remove components and solder, but my device works so much quieter and sonic-ally improved.

Simply an amazing difference... Money WELL spent...
Recently purchased this modification for one of my Boss GE-7 EQ pedals to give it a try, and ordered another one for my other GE-7 pedal 5 minutes after I plugged it in to see what it did.. Completely cleaned up the extra line noise (hiss) and made this a very clean tone shaping pedal.I use my GE-7's on both my main pedal board as well as another one to move between a few amps to run in the effects loop to supplement the amp's tone stack, and the difference between before and after the mod is nothing short of amazing. Makes you wonder why Boss didn't spend another $2 on parts on these (which is probably what it would have cost THEM buying in bulk) and charge another $50 for the pedal. Just changing out the quality of the parts takes this from a nice tone shaping pedal with some shortcomings, to one of the best EQ pedals you could use in your rig.If you have some moderate soldering skills, the mod takes about an hour or so, and it is DEFINITELY worth your time. This mod is a winner.
