not a good system for real time video
picture was very clear but video was all jerky and lagged and its not real time there is a 2 second delay on what happens on the screen ... cars are unrecognizable blurs and people walking by appear and disappear ... the video feed is not a smooth transition and the time clock at the top laggs from 3 - 30 seconds as the screen freezes ...cameras were placed well within system specifications 40'I returned it for another system

Camera was DOA on arrival. Remaining camera range is garbage
Absolute Garbage. One camera doesn't work at all right out of the box. The other 7 work great as long as you don't move them more than 5 feet from the NVR. Cannot get a good signal anywhere. I have great Wi-Fi at home with a range extender and everything set up. I get amazing signal all over my home. I cannot get any of the cameras to work outside the room the NVR is in. The worst system I have ever owned. I had a better system before I upgraded to this one. I am returning this immediately.

I'll give it three stars. Has good video. But one camera. Quit working 2 weeks after. Installing the system. Buyer beware

Bad instructions
The camera works very well, I have no problem with that. My biggest complaint are the instructions. Terrible. This requires a permanent monitor, I was able to use a small tv. Once i got it set up the cameras linked quickly. the app for the phone is ok but needs work. The one reason I got it was I could use it also on my pc. However I made several attempts using the instructions that came with it and I got it once and then I lost it. finally I contacted the company through amazon and got a quick response with download instructions to get it on my pc. Again this should have been in the instructions. My other problem is finding anything about the company, email, phone number for contact for help.Other than amazon that is the only way. So be aware of this if you are new to this.
