True Utility TU283 3-LED Compact MicroLite Key Ring Torch

I bought this for my son so that he could have a handy torch if and when he needed it. With him being away at uni I do worry about him being out when it's dark like the paranoid parent I am!This is a nice compact size so it fits into his pocket with ease. It's sleek casing is made of aluminium and chrome and is tough and durable. It's also water resistant which is great if it rains. It's only small but the beam from the 3 LED lights are very bright. The torch uses 4 lithium batteries which are included.As an added bonus the torch is packaged inside a reusable plastic weatherproof hardcase which you can use to store things when on holiday.I would recommend this small powerful torch if you need some extra light while out and about.

The True Utility MicroLite is great little key ring torch for the price. It seems very sturdy and the LED lights are surprisingly bright. It is about the length of a key and is very light so can easily be carried around every day. It is quite thick so it would be nice if it was a bit slimmer but I think this is because of the rugged construction.It is switched on by twisting the head. I prefer a push button but I suppose it is less likely to get switched on accidentally.I have bought several other True Utility products and at the price I was expecting them to be little more than novelty items but they all seem to be really good quality.I also really love the plastic case that most of the True Utility products come in. It is good to see something arriving in a reusable package rather than the wasteful heat-sealed plastic most things are packaged in.

Quality built key ring torch, considering the size the brightness is excellent and exceeds expectations. I read before complaints about the O ring coming off when turning on but this is exactly the same as the best selling torches of the last decade ie. Maglite which are simple and make the torch batteries safe from water and condensation and is a satisfactory and well proven design. Really can not fault this item for the money and is a handy little item.

the key fell apart as soon as i put it on my keyring. i have had to glue the black part to the metal part to stop the main part of the light to stop it falling off

This is a good little torch with a nice bright light. The only downside for me is that to operate it you have to turn it, I would much prefer a proper switch as I keep turning it the wrong way and unscrewing it. Apart from that it is great to put in your handbag as it is so small and also has the key ring attached.

Great small size for a key ring - no street lighting near me in the country so good to use for keys /doors or just highlight your way if you don't have a torch. The only con is you twist it to come on but its a bit fiddly - comes on and off and you have to twist it a few times 'just so' to get it to stay on - its not like you twist it all the way on/off - mine you have to just twist a little but its getting it to stay on can be a little irritating with a couple of attempts -- would have been 5 star of a little button or a twist on/off till it stops or something.

Very happy with this little torch. It's light and easy to attach to my handbag yet the light is powerful enough to be of use. I live in a village without streetlights and when walking back from the station or just down the road to a friend's house it is more than adequate.

Nice little torch with a key ring. The light is bright enough for its size. The product is exactly as described. Fast delivery too. I hope the baterry will last.

Yep. The box is really nice. The flashlight is for my wife and it has been working for weeks, the chain is strong and great lighting. Probably I will buy one for me later, but at least I am keeping the box.I recommend this product.

Totalement nulle... S'allume toute seule dans la poche et consomme les piles a une vitesse record !!!!! Et attention ca ne fonctionne pas avec une ou deux piles seulement hein !! Franchement vraiment déçu de cette marque jai acheté le briquet le stylo la lampe... Et tous était de mauvaise qualité

ottima torcia a led molto luminosa con le batterie a pasticca che sono di lunga durata - molto pratica l'accensione a rotazione della parte anteriore - il materiale è resistente anche agli urti (già sperimentata in quanto mi è caduta senza danni) - nel sito del venditore ho trovato molti altri accessori utili - sono davvero affidabili
