My first time using this type of product. Found it very easy to cut and really finishes off my flooring. Very happy with purchase

Brought to give better finish to interior corners of wall panels and one metre lengths were ideal for the job with little wastage but was a bit put off by material which is neither wood or plastic? cut edge has a kind of honeycombe effect which needs treating before it can be painted to suit finish and outer covering doesn't take paint well found I needed to roughen slightly to get a proper adhesion so 4 instead of 5 stars

I ordered these as I was fed up constantly having to reseal or renew the sealant in my shower. The fitter who put my shower in a couple of years ago, cut the wall tiles too short and left a large gap between the bottom of the tiles and the top of my shower tray which I found difficult to seal and I had to use a large amounts of silicon to create a watertight fit. These strips were fairly straightforward to fit. The only challenge was cutting one of the strips to form a joint in the corner as I only had to seal 2 sides of the cubicle. They look great and I am extremely pleased with the result. Overall excellent value for the money.

I used this product to finish the space between the tiling and the bath. To ensure perfect adhesion, I used 3 strips of TEC white sealant; one along the length of each side at the back and one along the length of the middle. When pressed firmly into place along the bath and tiles and held for 10 or 15 minutes by hand, these strips made the perfect seal and will never budge or let in a drop of water. Of course, I used masking tape along the tiles and on both front edges of the sealing strip; in fact, the total front of the strip was covered. Using such a strong sealant as TEC, it is necessary to ensure that no adhesive gets on the tiles and also that the masking tape is removed immediately after the sealant has been applied, otherwise it will be very difficult to remove. Then, I just ran my finger along the joint to smoothen the joint. This is the best product I've come across for sealing between the bath and a tiled wall; simple to cut and mitre, and very cheap.

The reason for the 3 stars is that of the 5 X 1 metre lengths that arrived three were marked with some black streaking on the ends that won't come off with soap and water. The product itself is just what I wanted and I have no problems with that in itself but with the streaks and the packing it's impossible to give it 5 stars.The clear plastic packaging is paltry in my opinion and a couple of bits of cardboard either end would have helped tremendously. You take your chance on getting a product in good order when buying this, you could easily get damaged or marked goods.Edit on 02/10-- just added some pics of the beading around my kitchen worktops and it doesn't look too bad so I've bought a smaller size to go round my patio doors, hopefully this arrives without black streaks.

I ordered this product initially 2 years ago.The new lengths was slightly different, but the product on the whole was excellent for use as a water proof giving behind the kitchen sink with the use of silicone and looks good. I won't need to replace for the next ten years. No more unsightly black sealant

I would have liked longer lengths so I did not have joins but I am not using it for its intended use.I needed to replace a quadrant that sealed between tiles and a granite work top, the previous quadrant was secured under the tiles and rather than remove tiles I cut the old quadrant out and replaced it with this.It looked good and made a good seal.I fixed it with this UniBond Anti-Mould Sealant / White Silicone Sealant for Kitchen and Bathroom / 1 x 274g Cartridge
