I bought the 15 metre version of this EV charger. It works well, it’s simple to use, sturdy in terms of construction and good quality. Finally it charges my hybrid vehicle relatively quickly without complications. In sum I am very pleased with this purchase.

So I got this as I can't get a fast charger installed at home, I use a rapid charger in public and then plug this in to top up my Leaf to 100%, adjustable amps (just select the setting before plugging into the car, I have it set at 8 amps and it tops my battery up from 80% to 100% in 4 hours, it doesn't get hot (warmish but not hot) the screen displays wattage, volts, temperature and amps along with time, it remembers what amps it was used at last, the quality is fair and as such I feel its a little overpriced at nearly £200 with a 10metre cable, I would not however use this to charge anything other than a small battery PHEV for more than 4-5 hours, don't use it on a spurred socket (that is a socket coming from another socket) you will be drawing too much power if you do. Overall its perfect for my use and I'm pleased with it, I would reccomend being vigilant with anything that uses this much power and monitor the temperature at the wall not just the box.

despite is saying that it has overprotection, overheating and overcurrent protection. It completely melted my socket when left on low setting. In my opinion this is dangerous to use an unsafe if it did have the overprotection then it would not have completely melted the socket and continue to try and charge, even when obviously overheating would not recommend to use, a very close eye on it if you use.I’ve gone back to using the slower but safer Tesla charger.

Very easy to use. Plug in, set the amps and any delay, then plug into the car. Various lights to show faults and fault codes are on the charger for easy reference. Easy to read illuminated LCD display. The supplied mains plug is not up to 13 amps as it gets hot, so I replaced the plug with a BS1363 hand-wired plug and now at 13 amps it just gets warm. The mains lead is a bit short, but no great issue.

Very good product. I bought the 15 M cable. Works fine and recommend this to anyone who needs a long cable. All the display buttons are easy to use and almost self explanatory

I purchased this EV charger with high expectations, but unfortunately, it did not live up to its promises. It worked fine for just over a month, and then it stopped functioning entirely. For a product that’s supposed to be reliable and durable, this is extremely disappointing. I cannot recommend this charger to anyone looking for a dependable solution for their electric vehicle.
