ABBA Gold (DVD) (2008)
All of the songs which have become world wide classics are featured on this compilation, digitally remastered by Jon Astley. The liner notes by Carl Magnus Palm are informative, with excellent colour photographs of the group.Anna-Frid and Agnetha are beautiful throughout, in designer evening dress, and casual and outdoor clothes, as well as having a international appeal, they still present an essentially Swedish element which is very enchanting. Most of the videos are directed by Lasse Hallstrom. There is a very interesting interview between Benny Andersson, and Stig Anderson co writer, and musical director, in the special feature section of this package, discussing how they develop the music often from ideas presented by Bjorn Ulvaeus with his ability to constantly compose songs that are sometimes silly. They would work maybe 12 or 15 hours a day perfecting the writing and recording at their own specially built studio. They would not be satisfied untill every song on an album could be a potential no.1. Benny is influnenced by a wide range of music that he tries to redefine for the younger people, and was lucky to discover the unique harmonic quality of the voices of Frida and Anita, when he needed backing vocals for a single he was working on with Bjorn, when they were their respective fiances and professionals in their in their own right, before the formation of ABBA.The wonderful and amusing film Mama Mia, has no doubt increased the popularity of their music even more, but here are the originals to enjoy over and over again.

Abba: Gold.
A decent collection of Abba`s music videos – though not comprehensive – there's a few missing – as a quick trawl on YouTube will confirm; however, it's still a nice DVD to have with a 25-minute documentary included for good measure.I'm not a die-hard Abba fan, but I enjoyed this and it's certainly a worthwhile compilation even if it isn't complete.

ABBA Gold DVD
It's taken me a long time to purchase this collection. After seeing a recent late night BBC ABBA's documentary, I just had to show my granddaughters just how good this group really were.Good music, great singing and natural renditions that kept both the two year old and five year old totally engrossed and delighted for the complete album. Thanks for the prompt and excellent service.

Genuine original ABBA video collection.
Genuine ABBA videos from 70s & 80s; this is not a ABBA concert DVD but a collection of separate original ABBA videos. DVD equivalent of ABBA Gold CD. Great to watch & listen to whilst exercising.

Fabulous Abba sounds and sights
A great dvd if you like Abba, picture and sound quality both very good. We really wanted a live show as in Wembley stadium or similar and there are some clips from live performances and some more studio type stuff but as a fan I am happy.
