quality pump and excellent for a bike
Better made than I expected and bigger too. It blew my tyres up to 45lbs (indicated) very quickly (on my bike) and was quite easy to use. I also tried it on my wife's car, but although it blew the tyre up to 27lbs it was a bit of an effort compared to the bike. Incidentally, the pressure was 27lbs as measured by a separate pressure gauge. The pump only indicated 20lbs. but that was with a car tyre. it blew my bike tyres up pretty hard, which is all I want.It seems well made, and looks it. Didn't find it too easy to fix to the valve, but that might just be my lack of experience. Good value and very glad I bought it.At a later date I used it to blow up a tyre on my own car and after experiencing difficulty getting the pressure above 27 lbs, I gave it 60 strokes from a start of 26 lbs hoping to get the pressure to 32lbs. When I checked it with a proper tyre pressure guage, the pressure was 47 lbs ! I had to let air out". it was pretty easy to connect to my car wheel, but my wife's car has wheel trims, so this was probably why I couldn't get the pressure high because connecting was not so secure. The pressure gauge on my pump is not accurate, so I use a car tyre guage

Throw away your muscle-aching hand pump. Stamp out your foot pump. This is the only pump you'll ever need and I'm so glad I bought this Beto Track Pump.I read some of the reviews which showed both positive and negative comments but I went with my gut feeling and bought one.Today (June 21st) I used the Beto Track Pump for the first time since buying it a few days ago, as I changed my MTB tyres from Off-Road to Road.Initially, I found it difficult to attach the Adaptor as the instructions showed the positions of the adaptor lock. Could I get the adaptor to stay on? No way.So I decided to do the opposite of what the instructions stated and yes, it stayed on and locked. So, if you do purchase this Beto Track Pump, disregard what the instructions say and do the opposite - Open is Locked and Closed is Unlocked. So, with the Beto Track Pump securely fitted to my tyre, I set the PSI needle to 45psi and started pumping. Literally, within a minute or so, my tyre was inflated to 45psi with no effort whatsoever felt on my arms and I moved immediately onto my 2nd tyre and inflated that within the same time. Again, without no effort felt on my arms - unlike the hand-pump, which after a short time, your arms would be tired and probably only inflated 15psi.This Beto Track Pump is very well made, sturdy and has a couple of clips built-on to keep the hose secured to the pump when not in use. The adaptor does not leak from the other hole when attached properly to your tyre.If you want a decent pump, look no further than this item. You'll be glad you made the purchase ;-)

Serving me well
I used this pump from last summer (aka 1 year), it worked very well on both type of values. Well that was on till a week ago when my brother started using it for the Schrader part.He some how force the value into work and broke the plastic inside meat to open the value to let air in and out, don't ask me how. But if he had no used force I willing to bet I personal would never have had a problem, I was using both value, one for racer bike and the Schrader for my everyday bike.I love this pump and would buy it again if the post cost was lower. I am going to have to find it somewhere else to buy it as amazon no longer sell it personal.for under £7 you well not find a better pumpedited, My brother (the one that broke it) got me a new head for it and it is work great again look like i Don't need a new pump. (aka he got a new bit that you put on the values)edited 2, It is now 2014 this review was write in 2011, I am still using this pump, the head that my brother got still works brilliantly haven't had to replace it.edited 3, it 2016 and the rubbers in the pump are finally giving out, I think I will get away with lubing them to bring more life back to it. But considering this pump has been going strong for year. it both bikes and even the odd car. If lubing the rubbers doesn't give it more life I have to buy it again.
