I use this product for daily wear when the weather is chilly. Dareen is a very pure Oriental style scent. It lasts at least 10 hours on me, though it softens around 6 1/2 hours after application. Dareen is lovely. The sweet wood is dominant on me, with some amber and a powdery rose. Some parts of Dareen smell like Tolu or the Nawab of Oudh, by Ormonde Jayne. Amber is not prominent as a distinguished note the way it was in the Victoria’s Secret Vanilla Lace scent if anyone remembers that. It’s not as smoky as Replica’s “By the Fireplace,” either, though it also reminds me of that scent. The amber note is mostly enmeshed with the sweet wood and powdery rose in Dareen. Some parts of the rose scent remind me of the powdery rose in Gold Woman or Dia Woman by Amouage, except Dareen is not quite as floral and is more powdery. It almost smells like it has a delicate suede texture. It smells aristocratic.The sweetness is understated, in a way that reminds me of several scents by Killian including “Love and Tears Surrender,” and “Bad Boys Are No Good, But Good Boys Are No Fun,” because the sweet scent is there to highlight other notes instead of calling attention to itself. However, Dareen is more powerful than either Killian scent and the wood note is much stronger, supported by amber and powdery, suede roses.What stands out to me, is that the scents Dareen reminds me of are all of very high quality. It’s absolutely worth the money they are asking. It’s not quite as full bodied as some of the scents I mentioned because it doesn’t have pre-designed top notes. To me, it seems as though Dareen is mostly composed of middle and base notes. Those are typically my preferred phases of a perfume or cologne anyway, so I absolutely think Dareen can be worn alone and it smells lovely. However, it is also ideal for layering with a single note fragrance like “A La Nuit,” by Serge Lutens. Jasmine is my favorite scent and you can layer it to customize it to your scent preferences. I do think the scent is unisex and suitable for either a man or a woman.A wood or spice based oriental or floriental scent is usually my best option because I am sensitive to certain smells. Additionally, my skin chemistry causes many solely floral scents to burn through the notes faster than the designer typically anticipates, and the result is that parts of the floral perfume are overwhelming. I think Dareen would smell good on anyone, though I prefer the scent in colder weather.It arrives in a beautiful amber bottle with a long black tassel wrapped with gold thread, reminding me of old Hollywood glamour. It has a spray pump that works well to provide a sufficient amount of scent with one spray. It looks attractive and I appreciate how much perfume is available for the price.I awarded Dareen 5 stars for beauty, quality, longevity, value for the money, and for being gift worthy.I do recommend it, it’s a very good scent!

Immediately you notice a slightly sweet aroma of what seems like oranges and grapefruit with a plant scent that I can't quite place (maybe pine needles?). After a moment it kind of balances out and you get a solid wood base scent that seems to last much longer. I only apply it once in the morning and I can still smell hints of it at the end of the day. I really enjoy the aroma and how well it mixes with my shampoo and body wash. I would consider this more of a masculine scent than a feminine or unisex one just because it kind of reminds me of Hugo Boss Orange. Honestly, it would have been 5 stars but when I ordered (and even now) the title of the listing says that this is a vanilla and coffee scent so when I ordered that is what I thought I would be getting. I enjoy the scent as it is but it just wasn't what I was expecting from the listing title.

I used to wear Theiry Muggler AMEN, and this kind of reminds me of that a bit. Has undertones of spice or perhaps a faint whiff of patchouly, but in a good way!Very strong bottle, and I could see a real manly cowboy wearing this, or me for that matter…The scent lasts a very long time, and is very strong, so a little goes a long way.Great stuff, I love wearing it and I get compliments from others. Definitely recommend checking it out!

The rose scent is there at first but dissipates quickly leaving a stronger oud scent. It is nice, but strong. The bottle is huge and will last forever as a little will go a long way.

Its smells better on my husband than me. In my opinion it smells like a combination of irish spring and dove cool moisture soap. It has a clean fresh just out of the shower smell , Its very pleasant and not overpowering. The cinnamon note is in the background and it's beautifully blended with the other notes. My hubby applies 2 sprays in the morning and I can still smell lingering hints of the scent 8 hours later. It last longer when applied to skin right after moisturizing.

I can't say that I have every smelled anything quite like it. It does last a long time, and is fairly intense. One squirt goes a long way. Value for the money is definitely there! This bottle could last someone 2 years maybe!

Late 30's male, been wearing a daily spritz of cologne for as long as I can remember. For starters, this has a slightly sweet note, this is not the scent you wear going to the club, or trying to turn some heads as you walk by. As a scent for a man, it's less aggressive if that makes any sense. It almost has that initial smell of walking into a mens cologne shop, kind of a mixture of everything. A little bold, a little sweet, some clean going on, etc. If you're not sure what you like to wear as a scent, this is actually a really good choice. It falls right in the middle.Now many men define themselves / separate themselves by the cologne they wear. I don't know that this is going to stand out in a crowd of 50 guys all wearing different smells. That said, it's a safe scent, it will get the approval of most with very little negatives. You can sit in a car with someone and they won't think you doused yourself, or you can comfortably sit at a bar and not worry about overpowering someone's drink with your aura.In addition what I like about is it lasts. I've tried several that you put it on and 45min later there's nothing left. This actually lasts the day, at the end of the night there's still a feint smell lingering on my collar. I can also say it's not overly strong which I prefer, if you're looking for the Axe body spray stench, keep looking elsewhere. This is much more refined and palatable.So, overall most will like this, I can also see it being worn by less traditional women, for sure it has a unisex appeal. It is very well balanced, pleasing, not overly strong and for someone looking for a daily wear, I'd suggest giving it a go.
