Great product, I wanted to replace the old Spots in the bathroom with Hue GU10's. I needed a waterproof, Zone 1,2 & 3 housing and these are perfect. Robust build, Strong retaining springs, they fitted perfectly in the existing holes and have a nice finish to them to compliment the white ceiling. The GU10 fitted perfectly and they remain still and don't move around in the fitting. My only concern is when I come round to replacing them once the bulb dies. The cover was tough to get off the housing and I did the cabling and the light fitting all before it went in the ceiling. I get they need to be waterproof, but I think they are going to be tricky now they are in place. That said, I haven't tried it so who knows. Good value and recommended

We needed to replace some old ceiling lights in an ensuite bathroom. These were easy to install, nicely finished lights which were significantly cheaper than those available in the usual high street stores.

The units themselves are good but there are issues with the included junction box. This must be an upgrade issue as the previous version of the unit was better. The junction box comes detached from the right angle support bracket and its lid is held on with 4 tiny PK screws. They are not only a bit of a faff but when you undo them both sides of the box fall off the connecting block - fun when you're working overhead in a confined space. Why still use connecting blocks with screws these days? What's wrong with lever operated connections? When you succeed in connecting the wires and re-fitting the box you find that the pegs on the back of the box are spaced too widely to locate in the holes in the right angled mounting bracket. The end result is good but the junction box clearly needs some work. Frustratingly the previous version had a clip on cover over the connector block and you only had to release the mains cable clamp at one end.

Like another reviewer, I would point out that 65mm is the diameter of the ceiling hole, not 50mm as stated on the packaging and elsewhere. That being said though, these are nice little fixtures and if the ceiling is smooth enough will provide a good vapour barrier against steam from a bathroom getting up into the roof space and causing condensation on the underfelt. I used 5.3 Watt LED lamps from Osram in mine. They don't quite fit properly - you have to omit the circlip from the fitting - but as they are so low in power consumption there cannot be any serious heat build-up compared with a 50 Watt halogen lamp. Therefore the front of the lamp envelope sitting in direct contact with the glass window doesn't trouble me at all. Other brands of lamp may fit better but as Tesco was selling these at £5.50 per piece I couldn't bring myself to go elsewhere!

I have just written a review on my first set of these lights... this is what I said on that other review:I have delayed reviewing this product until I felt I could comment after longer term installation and use.I purchased these in 2016 and they were installed a few weeks later during our bathroom refit.They were a doddle to install, and robust in their fitting in ceiling.I was worried that 5 watt bulbs wouldn’t be bright enough, but there are no issues - they are really bright, and provide a wide spread or beam of light. I have other makes of downlight, where the lights are more spotlight targeted..Almost 3 years since installation, they still look and work superbly: I purchased an extra set of bulbs from minisun, but didn’t need to! So far I have had absolutely no issues with the LED bulbs (also minisun)- no dimming of the LEDs over time, and none of the bulbs have failed.So, overall, these are excellent downlights and bulbs. So good that I have just purchased another set for my en-suite refit.

Firstly package arrived on time as always, can't fault Amazon there.Secondly, what value for money, 6 Black Nickel spotlights for £33.99. Brilliant deal, so much cheaper than the shops. Doesn't come with bulbs, which suited me perfectly as I can change the colour and wattage whenever I like, unlike the built in bulb spot lights. My husband is an electrician so he put them up with no hassle at all. Was a bit sceptical at first with the price but they are the same you get in the local wholesalers but at much cheaper price. Definitely will be recommending this company to family and friends.

They look good, and I didn't have any problem with bulb fitment or wiring, my only issue has been the springs aren't always strong enough to pull the light hard in to the ceiling, so I've had to place blocks either side of the light under the spring to give it the extra force. For this reason I give 3 stars

vraiment étanche....et protégé.je vais surement en acheter d'autres.compatible avec les ampoule led GU10 vendues par amazon.installé directement dans le volume de la douche.

Devo dire che l'oggetto è fatto molto bene ! ha tutte le guarnizioni che lo rendono IP65 e quindi resistente alle infiltrazioni e anche al fuoco! le misure corrispondono perfettamente alla descrizione fatta dal venditore! personalmente ho docuto effettura una piccola modifica al dietro dello spot allargando il buco per far scorrere meglio all'interno la lampada GU10 che avevo !all'interno ho adoperato una lampada PHILIPS HUE GU10 di quelle che cambiano colore solo che a diversità delle classiche lampade GU10 sono leggermente piu lunghe e quindi nel mio caso non entrava bene! con una piccola modifica tutto risolto e lho potuto applicare in bagno sopra la doccia incassato nel cartongesso! OTTIMO! spedizione arrivata dal UK in brevissimo tempo.

Faretto da installare nella doccia, quindi soggetto ad umidità. Il faretto sembra ottimo e viene fornito con attacco GU10 e varie guarnizioni. A prima vista sembra molto solido. Il tempo dirà la sua sulla qualità.
