Fantastic and cheaper than the shopping stores
The media could not be loaded. This product is definitely value for money. Its cheaper than anywhere I have seen. Its easy to clean. The size of the product is good, you are able to put on at least 4 chicken breast on it. It sizzles the food and and gives you the restaurant effect in your own home. Definitely fantastic if you are cooking for someone, will definitely impress them. What i like about this product is that, it keeps the food warm too. The handle is easy to use, you can easily pick up the palate.

Follow instructions to season and remove the sticker off the bottom before heating on the hob

Effective sizzler
The sizzler was seasoned before its first use (coat in rape seed oil and bake upside down in an over for 1 hour at 200c, cool slowly), this has given it an excellent non-stick finish. I use it in my outdoor pizza oven to cook meat, fish and Mediterranean vegetables, all with pleasing results.I have not used the wooden base yet, as others have noted this is painted plywood. It needs to be stripped of the paint before I would consider it suitable. The cast iron sizzler seems to be cast well and I expect to get many years of use from it.

Excellent so long as you season them.
I've seen many indifferent reviews about cast iron sizzler pans and skillets. The biggest problem with people who leave poor feedback is that they simply do not know about seasoning cast iron. If you season them regularly these pans will last a life time. I tend to only use them on our four burner gas BBQ at about 350° to 400° FHow To Season Your Cast-Iron pan:1. Scrub pan well in hot soapy water.2. Dry thoroughly.3. Spread a thin layer of vegetable oil over the skillet.4. Place it upside down on a middle oven (or BBQ) rack at 375° F. (Place foil on a lower rack to catch drips.)5. Bake 1 hour; let cool in the oven (or BBQ).

Wooden base likely to catch fire
Nice cast iron tray, very, very poor wooden base. Like absolute crap, burnt on first time of using. Not sure what the cheapest wood in China is but this was made from something cheaper!

Brilliant.
Saw these being used in a sizzler pub. Just had to have 2 of them.
