I started taking Fybogel a couple of years ago on the recommendation of a doctor. I simply wasn’t getting enough fibre. I started taking a sachet in the morning and another at night, as recommended. However, this stuff is good and I find that a sachet at night is sufficient so I have reduced to that, and have increased the amount of fruit, veg and pulses I eat. Fybogel definitely is a big help and this is an economical size to buy.The orange flavour is pleasant and so long as you mix it with water and drink it down immediately it is easily swallowed. If you leave it too long or just sip it it becomes unpleasantly gloopy in the glass.

A doctor recommended this product to me to improve my bowel situation for work traveling. Due to the job, I travel around 10-15 days per month to the far east, Europe or USA... and this kind of schedule has disrupted my bowel biology schedule, unfortunately.I was always worried to take something that would help the situation but would also give you terrible stomachache ( I really don't want to have this problem while seating in the meeting overseas). But, this product works! It helps my bowel situation PEACEFULLY. I only took it at night, then in the morning, I could do my business in the toilet as normal! There is no funny stomachache during the day or cramps at the awkward moments.This is now my to go product to bring on all the business trips.

Have always suffered with constipation. Tried all different sorts of medication. Was a bit concerned about relying on something to take on a daily basis constantly but after speaking to my dr he said it was safe to take all the time. Have tried having taking one sachet in the morning and one at night. Decided to change this to only having one at night, so now have 4 prunes in the morning (which aren’t pleasant) but they certainly do the trick!! I discovered that after adding the water, you need to stir it really well and quickly, and I then have to drink it with my nose blocked as it doesn’t taste very nice. Goes sloppy and lumpy if you don’t drink it quickly. I then have a drink of orange juice to get rid of the taste.

This product is the perfect way to increase your fibre intake.Despite what some of the other reviewers have said i think that the orange flavour tastes really good - just like an orange squash.The powder turns into a gel like substance in the gut so fills you up too.Works best if you drink it once in the morning and once immediately after your main meal of the day. Make sure to drink plenty of water with it for best results.I have this everyday but do experience mild bloating as a side effect but that's a known side effect of insoluble fibre anyway!
