Works perfectly :-)
I have an older stereo in my car which does not have Bluetooth capability. This product at just under £13 at time of review, converts my car stereo so I can now connect my mobile phone via Bluetooth and selecting the aux in option on my stereo. The 2 x adapters (1 is USB and plugs into an available USB port in your car to power the Bluetooth and the other adapter is a jack plug which plugs into an aux in or av in plug on your stereo.Search on your mobile device for 'car music' in your Bluetooth settings and pair. It may ask for a password which is default set to 0000. Mine didn't ask for a password so it connected straight away and now automatically connects to my phone when I get in the car.Now I can take calls and listen to music through my mobile and listen to them on the cars stereo speakers.Depending on your car stereo model you may need to enter the auxillary source to get the sounds/music etc.As long as you have an available USB port and auxiliary jack plug then this should work fine in your car and give you Bluetooth capability.Always remember though that in the UK the law states now that you shouldn't touch your mobile phone whilst driving so bear that in mind because you certainly don't want to end up with needless points and a fine.I will use this also for when I watch a movie on my mobile in the car when I'm parked up (with the engine off, of course) to give me stereo sound for watching my movie :-)I see no reason why this can't be used indoors as well with older stereo systems that don't use Bluetooth for converting them too.The user manual is clear and you won't have any issues understanding how this is fitted, works and connected.Fantastic product that does exactly what it says.... It gives you Bluetooth capability for older systems and playing music etc wirelessly. Please not that some jack plugs may need a slightly different jack plug adapter depending on size etc as I've found not all jack plugs are the same.

Car head unit, speaker, etc. Turns many non-Bluetooth devices into Bluetooth
This is a different type of Bluetooth adapter to one’s I have previously tried, in that is takes up both a USB-A port and AUX port. Which isn’t the most efficient. Especially if you are short on ports in your car. To power the device, it draws that from the USB and then the sound is pumped through the AUX.Pairing is straightforward enough and once completed, you can then play music, listen to call, etc through your vehicle’s stereo system. It does use the newer Bluetooth 5.0, meaning the signal is more stable.I do struggle with where this device fits really, especially when I consider the price point. You can get one of these that plugs into the AUX port but gets it power from the car light socket, has two charging ports and a remote-control pad for pretty much the same price. However, it is going to perform better than the ones you need to tune into a radio frequency. The sound quality is fine, and it is all quite neat and compact. It is also easily transferrable. Meaning you can use it on other devices to make them Bluetooth. So, if you have a speaker that is not Bluetooth and it has an AUX port, plug this in and it is. You can always plug the USB into any power source. Great for travel and decent 1.5m spring loaded cable.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.NB. For a sizing guide, squares in photos are 1cm.

Works well when paired with speakers that have an AUX in port
I plugged this into a little boombox i got a few months ago. This boombox didn't have Bluetooth but it did have AUX in so with me having an iPhone with no 3.5mm jack, this was my only option. Now, it's not as straight forwards as it looks, one end is a USB powered Bluetooth audio receiver and the other end is the 3.5mm jack that plugs into the AUX port on the device you're going to playing the music on. This will need to be plugged into a USB port to be powered so keep this in mind as it doesn't have battery power.I have my iphone connected to the Bluetooth part and the 3.5mm plugged into the boombox playing the sound through there as it's obviously much louder than my phone. The quality of this isn't too bad, bare in mind I'm using a little boombox that's just a modern version of something that was big in the 90's so all things considered, it's doing well. You could get a 3.5mm female to female connector and hook this up to a standard set of computer speakers without an issue.Personally I think this is great and an easy way to get music from your phone to even some older audio devices.

Noisy operation or interference
The media could not be loaded. First impression:👀 A very small unit only 35mm long with a 2mm thick coiled wire. Pairing was easy and the Bluetooth pair was ‘Car Music’. The coiled wire stretches to about 2 ½ ft.Contents:⭐ In the box you get the Bluetooth adapter in a small bag plus instructions.Packaging and delivery:📦 ♻️ A single small box with a plastic bag to hold the unit.Installation and use:🔧 Plug the unit into a spare USB A charging port. Some radios also come with these, or a charger plugged into a 12v car socket will do. Plug the 3.5mm stereo jack into the AUX socket and select the AUX source.😠 This is where the problem began. There is noise and interference. This is broadcast from the unit itself and not a result of nearby sources. When plugged into a speaker, when paired or not, there is a varying whine. This persisted even with the unit unplugged but still powered on after pairing, even with it at some distance from the speaker. The interference disappeared as soon as power was removed. I tested the setup using another Bluetooth speaker with pairing in proximity to the test speaker and there was no problem. I only got the interference when this Bluetooth unit was powered on. I wonder if there is adequate shielding given that the cable is only 2mm thick and carries the stereo signal.Pros:✔️ Small sizeCons:❌ Noise or broadcast interferenceConclusion:❌ Not recommended. Couldn’t get past the noise of this unit. Could even hear it when the music was playing.
