Fractal Design Ridge White

This is my first case from Fractal, and overall I am impressed by the quality and engineering of the case.The panels have thick durable paint. The magnetic front panel has fabric, but it's only for appearances, because air does not pass through it. The only piece of the case with questionable quality is the long plastic base/foot. It's super flexible and I could easily see it breaking if you move your computer around a lot.The build I put in here is probably beefier than Fractal intended the case for: The RTX 4080 FE easily fits, and stays between 50c and 60c during use, with no case fan installed. An RX 6950XT also fits easily alongside the two massive fans that Fractal included. The 4080 stays cooler in this case due to the location of it's air intake and exhaust.As nice as the fans are, I found that they were not useful in the case. Air does not move between the CPU and GPU chamber. You can not fit any fan within the CPU chamber, where they're needed most.Finding a CPU cooler that came in under 70mm that also fit the motherboard while keeping the chip cool was a challenge.I tried a few configurations with my 12600k and my Gigabyte Z690i Ultra Lite MB, but the only one I (forcefully) could fit was a low profile Noctua L12S. The required force was due to my board, not the case.I had to reshape the cooler to fit around the board's tall VRM heatsink and mount it sideways. It is keeping the CPU around 50c at idle, but spikes quickly with lots of fan noise under any load. The fan struggles to both cool and exhaust the heat.It's a beautiful and usable case from Fractal, but do consider the cooling limitations if you are thinking of purchasing. Additionally, consider where you'll place the case, if you sit to the right of it you're going to cook... LolA+ packaging, assembly instructions, and designC+ for case base/footMy biggest suggestion to Fractal is to add an inch or so to the width of this case. It wouldn't jeopardize the appearance, and would allow many more cooling options.

The fractal Ridge is not only a good looker, it’s surprisingly well thought out for some of the most power hungry components.I’ve kitted mine out with a Palit RTX 3090 and an Intel Core i5 13500 and it’s working wonders in the case.The build process was hard but not impossible and Fractal provide plenty of screws, cable ties and Velcro cable ties to keep wiring in check.I mainly watched a few builds on YouTube before I got into mine and there’s plenty of tips on how to hide, tie and tuck away anything you want to keep out of the way.Cooking performance is great (aside from the Intel stock cooler I’m using as a temporary measure) and the included 140mm fans in the GPU chamber keep things nice and cool for the GPU.Noise isn’t too bad but I’ve yet to optimise my fan curves and such so that’s an ongoing thing but playing games at 4k/120 in a tiny pc sat under our tv is a beautiful thing.Very pleased with the case, accessories, build quality and the documents included in the box.Worth considering if you’re after a small form factor, console style ITX case that won’t make you compromise on hardware choice.

Not Sure, If anyone bought it from India on Amazon. Its one of the sleekest and easiest to work cases, even from a First time pc builder perspective. Not gonna waste time on features and reviews as you can find plenty of it online and on youtube.1. Remember to only get a low profile CPU air cooler for this probably 90mm fans(120mm fan technically fits but resists the ICE power cable plug. Its manageable but may cause issues to some people. I read that Noctual LH12s has this issue, but ghost edition fits fine(You have to pay heavy for it as its not easily available in India.(Amazon technically sells it but for the price of a liquid cooler). I went for Deepcool AN600(Got it from an offline store for 4300/-)2. For PSU, Graphics card read the spec sheet and buy only the ones in the size limit. I went for Zotac RTX 4070 twin edge, which fitted extremely easily with Lots of space to spare. PSU should be SFX or SFX L(Go for SFX as it will save you some space)3. Cable management can be a bit messy, but should not be an issue once case is closed.Overall its a great case, go for it.

Devi stare molto attento con le dimensioni degli componenti, l'adattatore del cavo di alimentazione di rete potrebbe oscurare il radiatore è/o ventola del processore. Le due ventole incluse fanno pocchissimo rumore a bassa velocita.
