I love this although it's not quite perfect
In fact, I was going to call this the perfect water bucket but there's just one little niggle as far as I'm concerned. I use the largest section for rinsing/cleaning brushes and that's the only one without those convenient little ridges at the bottom to help get the paint off a brush. For me to call this absolutely perfect, all three water sections would have the cleaning ridges but really, I'm nit picking. It's so convenient to have so much rinsing water (and clean water, come to that) in one place and in one easy-to-carry container. If you use a crutch or a stick to get about and in the past have had the faff of carrying two separate water pots to your workspace before starting to paint you'll understand why I've got no hesitation in recommending this water bucket very highly (despite my personal niggle).

Just perfect
This really is fabulous. There are three separate sections for holding water. Two of them have a slightly ridged base which is great for cleaning brushes on. The orange handle has indentations on it so brushes can be stored across this when it is horizontal. There is a small area at the top where I store kitchen roll which is ideal to dry brushes off against. I bought this after seeing it used on the brilliant 'The mind of watercolour'.

Love using this
Love using this. So helpful when painting to have a compact container that actually holds 2 litres over three sections. Couldn't be without it now.

A must for watercolourists - space-saving and a great design.
I thought my usual array of three recycled glass jars were an adequate set of water containers for using with watercolour. But I had noticed several of my favourite online painters used this bucket and, after a particularily messy and dramatic spill, decided to treat myelf to this bucket.I was amazed at how much space on my work-table this bucket saved and how well designed it was. It was far sturdier and rigid than I expected a plastic bucket to be, has no sharp edges and is very stable once filled. Two of the sections have ridged bases that will effectively clean brushes with a gentle stroke across them and there are ridges in the handle that will securely hold up to ten brushes. There is also a recess at the front where you can place a wiping cloth. I was also delighted to find that the internal divisions were sensibly proportioned and the larger two would hold plenty of water for rinsing out even fairly large brushes.I had not realised how often I had to chase errant brushes that had rolled off the table and then pause to rewash them until I used this bucket and no longer had to do so. It does not stain and cleans out completely with a fast rinse, which saves a lot of time when packing up too. I also now spend far less time washing out my brushes at the end of a session as using the ridged bases of this bucket when rinsing seems to stop pigment clogging up next to the ferrules. This has turned out be one of those bits of kit that has made my painting life far, far easier and was worth every penny. I honestly wish I had overcome my economical instincts and bought one earlier. If I have one gripe it is aesthetically, as the choice of dark turquoise and bright orange colours is not one I find pretty, but its design and functionality is so good that I can overlook this. If you paint in watercolour and wonder if paying out for a purpose designed water bucket is worth it, may I assure you that this one is.
