OUTSTANDING!
**My only caveat: I have a friend that is 5'2", and there is no way she could hang feeders on these hooks w/o the assistance from a tall person, or a step ladder - I'm 5'8", and I'm standing on tiptoe to hang on some of the higher hooks. You can use S hook extenders to help with this, but if the feeders hang too low, the squirrels will be able to jump up to them. I would love to have one of those clothes hanging poles that they use on displays at retail clothing stores.** If you truly enjoy watching and feeding birds, and you plan to continue doing so, you should invest in this feeder pole. We have a window that overlooks a small slope, and sits a bit high. We've never been able to feed and watch birds, from the room where we spend the most time... until now. This feeder pole is tall enough that we can all easily see the hanging feeders through the window. I received the feeder pole yesterday, put it together by myself this morning, and got in the ground before lunch. My Sister was inside, assisting me in placing the pole in the optimal sightline of those watching from inside. I'm minimally handy, and I got it assembled and in the ground by myself. I'm in Missouri; We had 2 full days of rain and above average temps, and I was able to sink the auger and the bottom part of the pole to the correct depth, w/o any problem. If you live in a cold climate, you are going to want to know if the ground is frozen, first. I hung the feeders, and by the time I got inside, the chickadees were already investigating the new setup, and they were soon followed by a downy and a red-bellied woodpecker, who were unfazed by their favorite feeders being transferred to a new location in the yard. I don't know if the squirrels will be foiled by the baffle yet, , but I hope so! I have another feeder by our driveway, where I also put seed down for all of the ground-feeding birds and the squirrels - hopefully that will keep them busy.My Mom is already looking forward to adding hanging baskets to the 2 big hooks this Spring/Summer.Squirrel Stopper Yellowstone: Old Faithful Birdfeeder Pole is just wonderful and perfect for us. The sturdiness, quality of the materials and craftsmanship are exceptional. This is a good investment for these times when we're spending much more time at home. We are all thrilled!

A great feeder, well worth the price!
This feeder is awesome! So sturdy and squirrel proof. Beautiful also. The baffle is hugh. The pole was fairly easy to get straight in ground. I do recommend viewing instructions on websites. The only complaint I have is with the written instructions. Very difficult to follow & could use more illustrations. However, it is worth it. This feeder is a joy once it is up.

I am beyond thrilled with this feeder pole. It is truly squirrel proof!
Love, love, love this product! I placed it in the yard where squirrels could not drop down on it. They definitely cannot climb the pole so they are left to eat whatever falls! I realized that I don’t even need to use just squirrel buster feeders. This is the first time I have been able to use a suet cake feeder or an open tray with sunflower seeds or meal worms. I have 6 feeders on this and it can handle the weight no problem! I’m getting one for my daughter for her birthday and I know she’s going to love it! As for the directions...yes, they are lacking. Just go on YouTube and watch the video and you’ll have no problems.

HUGE! Seems to stop squirrels if far enough from everything else
First off, this didn't go together all that simply. The second (middle) section of vertical pole is supposed to slide over the bottom section and then twist into some grooved spaces. Well, we could barely get the middle pole to slide over, much less be able to twist it. Nonetheless, it seemed fairly sturdy, so we proceeded. The rest of the assembly was a bit easier. Beware, this thing is very tall! We hung a squirrel proof feeder (the typical green, square type) on one of the large arms. It is high enough that either my husband needs to lift it down, or I need a ladder! We were unable to locate this system the suggested 10 feet from anything else--we have a small city yard, and we wanted it where we could watch the birds! The squirrels have not been able to jump from the ground. However, we did have to relocate the suet feeder to be on the large hook opposite the "roofed" green feeder because they found a way to jump from a trellis, about 6 foot away, to the top of the green feeder, and when the suet feeder was closer, they could then reach over and grab it. We removed three of the smaller hooks that were unused, just to keep the squirrels from using those to hang onto. It looks nice, but it does lean considerably, despite being screwed so deeply into the ground with the auger. Perhaps this is because of the middle pole not being properly twisted into its groove? I'm sure the system works just fine if you can place it truly 10 feet from everything else and still have it within view.

Great feeder station. Well built and sturdy.
Very pleased with this feeder station. Shipped and delivered as expected. The printed instructions leave something to be desired, not very clear illustrations or instructions. I thought I was missing a part, called and talked to the customer service rep. She had me send a picture of the parts I had laid out, and called my back in about an hour to say all parts were there. I was mistaken about what one of the parts was. She directed me to a video on their website showing assembly, which was very clear and much easier to follow. Had it all put together in no time after that.

So far no squirrels!
We just set this up and so far so good as far as the squirrels are concerned. My 18 y/o son set up the pole. He said that the instructions were a bit sketchy but it wasn't too hard to figure out, but that there were a lot of pieces to account for. He also had no problem installing the pole. Be advised that it is quite big! I am so excited to get all my squirrel buster tube feeders filled & set out. I have 2 tube feeders on it now and will be putting at least 1 more feeder and 1 suet basket on the pole. We live in Michigan & winters can be tough. In past winters, I've had problems with feeder poles bending or falling over & then being stuck pole-less bcs the ground is frozen. I doubt this sucker is going anywhere! I will update if there are any issues.
