Swanson Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma Longifolia Jack) - Supports Endurance and Stamina for Men and Women - Herbal Supplement Promoting Hormonal Health - (120 Capsules, 400mg Each)

As compared to all the other vitamins/supplements/herbs that are out on the market promoting "sexual satisfaction," I would have to say that I have gotten the best response from this herb. Granted I have only taken this herb for 2 days, however I noticed results the first day that I started taking it. After doing some research, the dosage that I decided to use is 2 capsules (400mg each) per day, 2 days on 2 days off (as recommended by multiple literary sources). The first day went on as normal leaving me feel pretty normal. The night however, brought more of a response that I was expecting/hoping for. When my girlfriend and I went to bed I couldn't keep my hands off of her, which led me to more or less pounce on her. I experienced really intense, almost overwhelming sexual desire and felt as though I wanted to go all night long with her. Touching & kissing her skin alone left me incredibly horney and I couldn't get enough of her. The following days have been filled with similar experiences, a lot of physical play, and an increase of sexual thoughts running through my head.Side effects: there can be several side effects that are realized with this herb. To date, I have only experienced being slightly more irritable (pissy) than normal on days that I take the herb.I have tried many herbs and supplements in my search to enhance my sexual experiences: Damiana, Maca, Rhodiola Rosea, Epimedium (horney goat weed), Muira Puama, Ginkgo Biloba, Tribulus Terrestris, L-Arginine, and now Tongkat Ali. Out of all of these, Tongkat Ali produced the most noticeable result that I was very impressed with. While use of L-Arginine produced more of a physical result (increase of semen and slighly longer & stronger orgasm), Tongkat Ali produces an increase in libido and sexual desire. More experimentation is needed and I will update this review as I continue to take this product.

I got this product quickly and it is of seemingly okay quality. When looking for Tongkat Ali, I always use the "bitterness test" to test its quality. Tongkat Ali is native to south east Asia and has a very, very bitter taste so true alkaloid extracts from the plant should taste highly bitter. I opened up one of these capsule and tasted the powder inside. It was only mildly bitter so I suspect that this isn't the highest quality extract and may have unidentified fillers or non-active ingredients. This is just my opinion though.

let me preface this by saying that i use or have tried many supplements. most have had minimal change overall. however, I have note dthat in taking Tongkat plus a supplement called Catuaba, my sexual rebound ability has greatly increased, making me feel 20 again (at least in some areas). i did not do a before and after testosterone level check (would be interesting), but it definitely has helped rebound and production. Try it!!

No complaint about the merchant; arrived promptly and well packaged.As for the product, not effective. I tried the recommended 2 pills per day to as high as 12 pills per day without any effect. Suggest that the placebo affect may be operating here, and that the power of suggestion is more effective than the actual caps. Consider that if this product were all that powerful, the drug companies would long ago have patented the pill, put it on the prescription list, and be charging $25 a pill. You would pay it too, if it really worked.Doesn't, and not worth your time, or the even the inexpensive charge for the bottle.

I find that this supplement can be helpful as part of a whole program when used in combination with other supplements such as Red Korean ginseng, avena sativa, horny goatweed, maca and other such supplements.Also, when combined with 50-100 kegal exercises every other day (tremendously important for men, especially those dealing with partial to full erectile dysfunction) this supplement can be of benefit.While the efficacy of this supplement alone is probably not going to make a huge difference in your life at low dosages, it does provide some benefits, particularly in the areas of natural increase in testosterone production.At least two capsules are needed per day and three would be better.All of the literature I've read seems to suggest that even these dosages are on the low side with the proper amounts being measured in grams, not milligrams. However, I have no idea as to the level of refinement in this product nor the concentration of the active ingredients.This discrepancy in dosage levels is the only thing keeping me from giving it 5-stars...I just think it needs to be a higher concentration for it to be completely effective for most people---but the idea of taking 6 or more capsules a day seems a bit untenable for most people.It seems to work for me. I am a 48 year old male who does not suffer from erectile dysfunction. I am currently engaged in a rather extensive exercise and resistance training program and I do feel that this supplement, added to my others, has provided me with enough benefits to justify reordering more.I have found my noticeable increases in energy levels, mild increase in aggressive/competitive mindset (nothing serious, more like the sensations generated by spikes in testosterone levels-actually quite welcome in someone nearing 50-years of age)not to mention slightly better erection-quality level as compared to before the addition of this supplement.As I stated above, this was added to an existing supplementation program but I have noted positive benefits to adding this supplement.Note: I have no financial stake in the production, marketing or sale of this product nor am I associated with nor do I know anybody who is. Strength, energy, and labido all dramatically boosted. Felt the effects in about two days! Great for weight training or just those who would like to have a little more testosterone.

I would not recommend this product, because it did not work for me.my search will continue for an effective Tongkat product
