I always grabbed something else to cut my large electrical wires, garden hoses, etc. I've broken things doing that. When I finally got this, I find that I keep it around in my tool bag. It cuts well, and it is small enough to go into my tool bucket.

I went Fiber Optic. I’m going to have my house painted outside. So I wanted to cut probably 25-30 yrs worth of cable TV and internet wiring off my old concrete block house first.Oh man I filled a huge black plastic outdoor garbage bag full of old cables and wires.These cutters feel nice in your hand. They feel like quality and they made the job easy. I didn’t know how easily the cable would be to cut. They were running sometimes 3-4 along the roofline. They were so ugly. Some were painted over to match the house. But many were not. So many patch jobs and fixes by the cable companies subcontractors. I had no idea which ones were really working. I only had the hardwired work computer on cable internet since the pandemic.I was also able to very easily cut all the old telephone and old alarm systems wires from the house now that my alarm is cellular.The house looks 100 times better from the street now.Also at some points I was cutting 3 wires/cables at a time.I do wish they had a version that looked and worked more like smaller wire cutters that had a more angled tip so that I could cut right up against the house. This doesn’t angle, so I do have 1/4” in some places still sticking out from the house. I could try with something smaller now to get any nubs. But maybe my painting team can do that instead. I’m pretty happy for the enormous improvement, and no ugly cables tangled mess on the unseen side of my house.
