IFC Veronica Wooden Storage Bed Ottoman Gas Lift, oak, Brown, Double

This bed seems very well built and looks good against our far more expensive oak furniture. It arrived flat packed in 3 boxes so none were too heavy or unwieldy to move. Assembly instructions were clear and all tools were provided in the pack. It took me about one hour to assemble on my own. The visible panels are all real wood with chipboard used for the inner dividers that you don't see. The gas-lift ottoman feature works effortlessly and the bed is easy to raise and lower; just make sure you have a mattress fitted as it needs this weight to work properly (the instructions make this clear). There is loads of storage space inside and, not only is this conveniently divided, but it's also nice to see some proper boards rather than a piece of canvas to line the floor. The mattress support slats are sprung for added comfort and, once the bed is closed, there is nothing to show that this is an ottoman. Customer service from this supplier via Amazon was also great. Delivery was swift and tracked all the way. Although there was a minor issue with my bed on arrival this was resolved quickly and courteously.

Lovely bed, easier to construct with two people. Very sturdy and good storage underneath the mattress. Unfortunately when delivered it was left outside of my house in an un secure area, fortunately for me nothing was stolen but from not hearing of the delivery company DX before, they did not make a good first impression.

the bed is not completely made from wood, maybe just the headboard and the foot board, most of the panels are made from chipboard and veneer. I have ordered two of them, one of them was intact but the second one was slightly damaged in the corners which is happening most of the times during transport.

Nice solid bed and looks good. It can take the weight of a Tempur mattress but needs a strong heft to lift it. Closing is fine!

Bed is solid, does not squeak at all. The corners are absolute knee destroyers though, they oddly protrude and are very sharp. Relatively easy to assemble, instructions were fine. Takes 2 people to completely assemble, but can mostly be done solo. Happy with the purchase, but not suitable for a small room due to the corner issue.

I LOVE my bed!!!! Masses of storage. It IS quite heavy to lift to access the under storage - so not a good idea if you're not very strong. It is aesthetically pleasing. I'm really happy with my purchase.

excellent quality, easy to assemble and look fantastic ordered 2 brilliant storage and so easy to open and close. love them. Delivered a day late but that's normal in highland so no worry.
