The Winter Sword: A Novel of Germania and Rome: Volume 3 (Hraban Chronicles) Paperback – 9 July 2015

There a lot of books of this genre so these three had a lot to live up to. I thoroughly enjoyed all three and read each one in a day. I would recommend these three and search the author.

Am a reader of historical fiction which this series loosely follows. Lots of bloody action with a touch a romance

Great story but plenty of spelling errors really let the book down.

Another exciting and engrossing book. Could not put it down. The exploits of Hraban and his friends kept me enthralled. It was also sad with good friends dying.

Always a good read from a great author

This is growing into a fantastic series.

The third book in the Hraban Chronicles, The Winter Sword brings to an end some of the adventures of Hraban, leaving open others, and preparing the Oath Breaker for his journey to Rome. Longward, again, does not disappoint, intertwining history and myth in this epic novel. Although lengthy, I felt satisfied with the story, knowing each plotline had a part to play. I love how the book is divided into parts, each one crucial to the story of Hraban. I eagerly look forward to the next installment!
