it's a good filtering jug overall, but it's not as easy to fill it in, as you have to leave it under the tap for a while.

The taste of the filtered water is far far better than the Bxxxa. The filter lasts at least 2 months of daily use and once you work out how to soak the filter properly in the first place it fills quickly - in fact faster than it takes the Bxxxa to seep through from its tank. To soak the filter turn it flat side down in a measuring jug with enough water to cover and then press the domed grid until no air bubbles come out. Change water until no greyness when soaking from new. Insert into top, twist to fix and then put in the sink under a steady but gentle stream of water. It will then fill in maximum 40 seconds. If refilling when half full just tap a few times on the top of the filter and the air bubbles will go and flow rate increase. To flip the lid over the spout to pour is no big deal and soon becomes an automatic action. To fit in our Bosch fridge door we had to unclip a multi depth fitting - again no big deal. We use this product both at home and abroad and do not regret the purchase in the slightest.

Why does the spout not move you have to move it manually it does not flip itself

I bought this jug 3 years ago. Now it is impossible to find the filter replacement.

Clunky, doesn’t fit in the door of my fridge and have to wait for water to fill up as filled because water is filtered as goes in.

Not great even when bought on a lightening deal- it's just a carbon filter and the first few jugs have carbon floating in the water even when rinsed it as directed. Water also drips when used- all over the floor- it's not great

Don't bother. Please. This is utter tripe
