such a pretty platter for entertaining

I pretty much never leave reviews but this product surprised me by being so much nicer than I was expecting. I plan to order a few more.

I love this little serving platter. It's excellent quality and would make a great gift. It could be easily personalized as well to take it up a notch further if you wished. It's on the smaller side too, which makes it perfect for two. The inside edges are more rounded than I anticipated, but very sleek and well finished. It doesn't feel dry at all/ like I don't need to mineral oil it and the bark may be polycrylic-ed or something because it seems to be well sealed. It just doesn't hold a lot. But luckily for me, I don't need it to.So for years I've had this vision of my husband and I locking ourselves inside the bedroom for a whole weekend while the kids are away and we don't hardly leave the bed but survive off of bottled water, booze, fruit, and delivery. I hadn't even thought of that dream in a while, but when I saw this serving platter, it made me think of it and I knew that this what I want us to eat off of during that lovely weekend in my dreams. And when I received it, it did not disappoint. It's the perfect little platter size for two. Great for decorative purposes as well and would be excellent for rustic B&Bs. My husband's birthday happens to be this weekend and this beautiful platter is part of our plans. It's currently priced at ~$35 which seems fair. I'm very frugal and wouldn't want to pay much more, although it is great quality and finished so well. I highly recommend this gorgeous little platter if you're looking for a rustic but smaller romantic one. Great find!

I'm not going to lie I thought this was the wooden cutting board, but it is not. It's a serving platter. I still love it. For Christmas I served fruit on it. I love the aesthetic look. I wish I could find the cutting board in this style. I wouldn't say it's dish washer friendly. I believe the heat will crack the wood like it's done to my cutting boards in the past. All in All 5 out of 5.

I thought this was a very interesting board to have charcuterie on. It's a natural-edged mango wood, shaped as a 13" diameter circle that's about 1.5" tall. There is a curvature to the board with the edges sloping up; this can definitely help keep food items within the board's borders. It has a slight polish to it to protect it from food and use, and is handwash only.You can serve a cast iron pizza on it, you can put snacks on it, you can even mount a plant on it and hang it on a wall.
