Bicycle!: A Repair & Maintenance Manifesto

This author may be a bit of a cult or whatever, but if I have a book on cycle mechanics I really don't expect it to be full of expletives. What on earth was the publisher and their editors thinking about when they allowed this language to appear in this work? I'm no prude, but the point is that using expletives in a book of this nature is totally out of kilter with the content. I don't mind if it adds something to the work in hand, but here all it does is distract and make one think that the writer is a bit short of vocabulary and/or imagination. Sadly, I've stuck it in the corner of my cycling library and am awaiting for an explanation from the author!
