Agatha Christie's Poirot: Murder on the Orient Express

IFnot the finest Poirot story, very close to it. Blu ray is the way to watch it.

I ordered this DVD living in a zone 2 area and it being advertised as 'zone free'. However when I went to view it I found a message on my TV stating 'Invalid Zone'.I was bitterly disappointed.

The DVD does not work on my Blue-Ray player or my son's player. Amazon you really need to 'clean up your act' with regard to your advertising. I will seriously consider before buying any more DVDs from you.

This gets 2 stars only because of David Suchet's excellent performance. The actual production is dire! The whole storyline is skewed to reinforce some scatter-brained idea of the adapter/writer to illustrate 'justice'. Not only that but the casting is bizarre and attention to detail lacking. As we bought this as part of a set, we will keep it but watch the Albert Finney version which, while lacking David Suchet's excellent Poirot, at least stays true to the Agatha Christie story. If we had bought it separately it would have gone straight back.What a shame - this could have been wonderful.
