Although this was a relatively cheap product and I was expecting to get what I paid for, I was pleasantly surprised by its quality.It is easy to fill with gas and works very well. It has an adjustable flame and a good ergonomic grip, with a good safety feature - much like a safety catch, on a hand gun.All in all, very pleased.

Everyone will have seen these at some point in a cookery show and entertained ideas of buying one for making that perfect creme brulee. I had intended using it for crayon art but what I have used it for has been the quickest cheese on toast with grilled tomatoes ever! Well worth the price for that alone. I'll try and remember to take a photo next time I use it.

arrived empty with no instructions in english .easy enough to figure out if you've used cig. lighters in the past.luckily I had gas refill and was soon ready to go. good flame ,browns cheese well.feels sturdy and fits into your hand well.overall good value for money.

Turns you into a bit of a pyromaniac as that first ‘whoosh’ is fun!That aside, make sure you get a gas canister that fits it to fill up. Some of the ones on Amazon don’t come with nozzles (I found out the hard way) so be careful you get one that’s compatible but it’s nice and easy to fill.Once filled there’s a switch on the side to control the flame size so start off small to test the gas filling went ok and then go up to the full rocket blast of it.Easy to use and you can lock the flame on rather than having to hold the button down, handy.

Was expecting this to last a week. Others have melted themselves or leaked in no time. This one has been refilled many times and is still going strong. A very able little tool and we'll worth the money.My rating is only on my one though. Others have had bad experiences with the same. Maybe I got lucky. Very happy with mine.

Used to expand a garden implement and separate from large screwdriver that I had inserted and jammed! Worked well! Provided rapid and effective heat on a small directed area. I’m sure it is as efficient in preparing crime brûlées!

I've never used anything like this before, it took me a while to figure out that you have to hold upside down to get the butane liquid to flow into it from the canister. Eventually I got it working, but it would be good if it had a viewing window to see how much butane is in it. You cannot tell by shaking it around how much is in there, if it's full, low or what.Another downside is that setting it to low flame makes it go out when less than half way, so really there isn't much scope for precision. I find I have it on the lowest setting for my needs which is plenty hot enough (used to soften sculpting clay).That said, it is nice to use, feels robust and light like aluminium, and you can pick it up, push in the back button with one swoop and get instant flame. Perfect for doing spot work on models.

Works great but quality could be better but only needed to do a specific job and will come in handy

Lo uso para flambear pescado principalmente, y la verdad que me encanta.Lo he rellenado de gas creo que solo 2 veces y hace ya años que lo tengo. Se lleva casi media bombona de las amarillas del gas de cargar mecheros, pero es que dura la santa vida.Se puede regular la intensidad de la llama, y el botón para prender se puede dejar fijo con el seguro puesto para que sea un flujo continuo.Lo super recomiendo

Any slight movement, or prolonged use causes large yellow flames, instead of the proper blue flame for flambéing.Absolutely useless in the kitchen

Knappe 15cm hoch und mit einem ordentlichen Griff ausgestattet, bietet dieser Brenner auch eine ordentliche Flamme!Diese lässt sich gewohnt wie bei einem Feuerzeug regulierenZudem gibt es einen Mechanismus mit welchem man die Flamme dauerhaft brennen lassen kann.So ist auch ein verkrampfter Finger kein Thema mehr.Aufgrund der Größe und des Mechanismus‘ welcher ein wenig Kraftaufwand bedarf, ist er auch für Kinder ungefährlich.Klar ab einem gewissen Alter haben auch Kinder genug Kraft, allerdings muss man vorher noch ein Rädchen auf die richtige Stellung bringen, damit die Flamme entzündet.Man kann diesen Brenner auch ohne Sorgen mal offen stehen lassen, ohne Angst haben zu müssen, dass sich kleine Kinder damit die Schnute verbrennen oder größeren schaden Anrichten.Das Gehäuse wirkt recht stabil und auf der Unterseite ist die Befüllöffnung.Rund um zufrieden!Volle 5 Sterne und eine klare Kaufempfehlung
