I took a chance on these being thick enough and low enough. The soles of the socks are thicker, but the top is thinner. I believe this is thinner to allow for moisture to escape, but worry they could be more easily snagged/torn. Initially, the socks looked small, but they are very stretchy and fit my size 11 men's foot.They don't show in my sneakers, but barely shoe in my boat shoes. When I read there was three strips of silicone on the heel, I thought it was on the outside of the sock to secure the shoe with the heel of my foot; thereby minimizing the shoe from pulling my sock down. I discovered the silicone strips are on the inside of the sock to help the sock cling to the heel; thereby preventing/minimizing the shoe from pulling the sock off. After trying them out, i think this works well. I have other no show socks without the silicone and the shoe rubbing the heel of the sock always pulls my sock down. I'm not sure how the silicone is attached, so I'm thinking these have to be carefully hand washed. One additional thing to note, when I first received these they were packaged in a way that looked like there were one pair of black, white, and grey socks. Believing, I only received 3 out of 6 pairs, I called Amazon to see if their was another shipment. During my hold for a rep, I discovered that there were socks within socks (hard to explain). So I did receive all 6 pairs. Just as I discovered this, the rep came on. I had to explain my mistake. So embarrassing. If the silicone stays on, don't tear easily, keep my feet dry, and stay on my feet; I'll be purchasing more. I'll keep you posted.

These were to be a stocking stuffer for my son, but when I opened them, they looked small so I tried them on. I am women's size 8.5 they fit great on me, but will never fit his size 10.5-11 sized foot. They are very comfortable and seem well made but I dont need socks so I will be returning them .Giving 4 stars for quality .

Socks look nice when they first came from the package. Items shrank a lot every time you washed them. I had to stretch them out every time I wore them again. There are better products out there.

Great socks for the price, not very thick. But hold on to your foot nicely.

Had been looking for a slightly thicker, no-show sock that came higher on the top front of my foot and held its place in back. These little jewels did just that! Definitely my new "go-to" sock for summer!!

Well made but are women’s sizing.

Very comfortable, great for the gym or just when you don’t want to show your socks. Will buy again.
