Short and Spooky!: A book of very short spooky stories

Short, Spooky and Successful in Schools
This is the fifth in the series of 'Short' books. It is the second by Louise Cooper who wrote 'Short and Scary' in 2002. This book appeared 3 years later and is full of the same mix of short and spooky tales. They are great for reading silently in the book corner, reading during a wet playtime, for a teacher to illustrate a point succinctly or for a supply teacher or parent to read to their class/child. The book is like a box of chocolates; one tale is never enough. The stories seem to clamour out to be chosen and they provide an excellent complement to a longer class or bedtime story which is being read as a serial.

Not spooky
Terrible. Bought this for my little boy and he, like me, thinks these are lame short stories. Not really spooky at all and think my 4 year old could have written better. In fact my 4 year old overheard them and is not impressed either!
