Lovely cards
I love this deck so much! I have been using the Rider Waite deck for many years for my own readings, and it is a great deck but wanted to have a change. My Tarot reader uses the Golden Dawn deck and I have loved the cards for many years and decided I would like this deck! They are beautiful cards, so bright and colourful, so make you feel happy just by picking them up. Very easy to interpret.Definitely recommend this deck!

Must have deck
I liked the deck. Israel Regardie is a person who gave a great part of his life to studying and teaching Golden Dawn rules and regulations. I love his fundamental classic approach, the deck is fundamental and friendly. Thanks, Amazon, for the opportunity to order decks by US Games.

Poor standard of art
Poor standard of art, any revelatory meaning buried beneath misguided notions of Victorian prudery & demeaning secrecy. Thoth is so superior.

Valuable information within bland art work.
Valuable deck for anyone seeking answers from The Golden Dawn oraganization of which A. Crowley and Waite were members. Their own decks imparted a lot of wisdom, hid a lot, and left a lot out. This content of this deck was directed by Israel Regardie to Dr. Robert Wang. Regardie was Crowley's personal secretary for several years and had access to The Golden Dawn records. While Dr. Wang's art work is child-like and basic it adds a different insight into the leap forward the Tarot took from the Marseilles deck to the decks the grew out of TGD. If you're looking for a beautiful deck, this isn't it; if you're looking for information and to want to learn it's perfect.

Wishy-Washy
The author of this deck, Robert Wang, states in his instruction booklet that the Golden Dawn Tarot is "the only truly esoteric deck ever to be published", i.e. the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn claim to have published much of their secret teachings through this deck. All the Major cards retain their original titles, whilst the Court cards of the Minor Arcana are shown as 'Princess', 'Prince', 'Queen', and 'King' whilst the Ace to Ten are 'pip' cards. The pip formations are based on the Kabbala Tree of Life.I was given this deck by a neighbour who had retrieved it from a waste bin on a shopping precinct! It's not a deck I feel inspired by as I find some of the images a bit flat and the colours of some of the cards a bit washed out.
