Just What I Needed!
This book by Dr. Gupta is fantastic, and has given me a new lease on life! About 2 months ago I was tested and found to have short term memory loss (i already knew that!) and when reviewing the results with the Doctor she basically gave me 0 chance to fight or improve upon the path towards further degredation and developing Alzheimer's. They took my wife into a seperate room and prepared her for what lies ahead (play on words intended).I have a Phd, my work research was recognized by the top race car engineers, data mining work at one of the big 3 servered as a bench mark for IBM's Big Blue and SAS datamining tools (they got about 70% of the top issues I identified, lead quality changes in the automotive industry that became industrial standards, and projected corporate quality improvements from initatives I was putting in place that hit projections as far out as 5 years. So I decided to research and put up a fight.One of the first places I went to was the AARP website, were I found AARP's Staying Sharp, and a lot of great info from Dr Gupta. This is where I found out about this great guide to fighting back. I have been following his program from the book, and the website, as well as reviewing other sources (Mayo Clinic and others on the web, which bascially align with Dr Gupta's book).I am about 6 weeks in and the wife and myself have noticed improvements, from where I started. As I am about half way through the program, I am very happy with my progress and am sure I will not follow the timeline my Doctor layed out. Will I be able to make a complete reversal, time will tell, but I am certain I figthing and improving my chances to delay as far as possible my Doc's projections.A bonus, many of the changes are not only positive for my brain, but will also impact other areas of my health, in particular my heart, for which I am currently on a number of meds.Thank you so much Dr. Gupta!

Will improve your daily life
My husband and I are working through the program together. We enjoy the tips and ideas. We find the food journal helpful. Simply jotting down what you eat keeps you accountable and enables you to note differences in energy levels and general well being. We're about halfway through the program and it's been an interesting journey
