I keep two of these in the bed of my truck. The magnet is reasonably strong, the lights stick to the inside of my truck bed and can be used as a cargo light. I actually bought these to place (via magnet) on the rear bumper of my RV trailer and use as a reverse light when parking at night. I like that they have the red light function which I use when camping, and have not had to use the red strobe in an emergency but if I ever get a flat tire at night, I plan to use that function in addition to a separate hazard light.Sure, battery life on high power is pretty poor, but it's acceptable at lower power levels. I had a problem with one of my lights self-discharging or losing capacity, but the manufacturer offered me a replacement.The product works well enough that I have no reason to try alternative / competing products.

I have had a number of work lights over the years. I was a bit skeptical of this one given its size, but I have been super happy with its quality and functionality. Let me just note a number of highlights (no pun intended) in no particular order.* It's surprisingly compact. It's probably a little larger than two deck of cards stacked on top of each other. You could keep this in a glove box easily (unless you keep a lot of junk in there)* It's really very bright. Like definitely do not shine it into someone's eyes bright. It did a really nice job illuminating a big swath of my backyard* It lasted a long time for something this compact. In my testing (at full brightness) it stayed lit for 2 hours and 37 min. That's pretty darn impressive -- again, remember this thing is not huge* It came fully charged (or nearly so) out of the box. That's always a nice touch* USB-C. Thank goodness. I'm desperate to get rid of micro USB, but so many products like this insist on hanging on to the old standard. But not this. Thank you manufacturer! It comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable, by the way.* it has a stand that swings around for multi-angle use or hanging. And that stand has a standard tripod screw mount. So lots of versatility about how and where to use it.* You can change the color temperatures from a warm orange-ish to a very bright weight.* You can have it flash between white and warm colors, which I'm assuming you would want, if for instance, you are on the side of the road and want to alert oncoming motorists.* It can serve as a power bank for your mobile devices. I tested the USB-C connection with my iPad Pro and the wire I have reported 11W delivery. That will be decent for a phone, ok for a table, and not great for a laptop. But I consider the power bank functionality secondary and a bonus, not the main reason to have this. But it's cool that it does. Note that it has both USB-C and USB-A connections.* The controls are intuitive and simple, with a handful of buttons on the back. No menus to wade through, or anything like that.So as you can see, there is really a lot to like here. I think it's an excellent work light with lots of extra perks and I'm glad to work it into my DIY needs rotation. Well done.

PRINCEWAY Rechargeable WorklightThis light is incredibly bright. I usually ignore the warnings about not looking into the beam, but I wold caution you with this one. Definitely hurts your eyes. Also, it provides very even area flood illumination with no noticeable circles projected.It is not a small or a light unit as you can see in the pictures. It weighs around 17 ounces, so this is not something you will be mounting on your head or on your bicycle for that matter. This heft is understandable given how powerful it is and the size of the internal battery. What is unique about this light as compared to my other worklights is that it provides a range of intensity (4 settings) and color temperature adjustments (also 4 settings).Another nice feature is that after having the very bright LEDs (it has 2 10-watt LEDs) even briefly, you will notice a glow in the dark ring around them which will make it easy to find in the dark. It also has a fairly bright small red LED with or without a strobe function so you can find something in the dark without ruining your night vision.To round things out, it has at least 4 ways in which it can be mounted/used: You can simply stand it on a flat surface and angle it using the built-in stand, you can attach it magnetically to any steel surface (strong hold), you can hang it from the built-in hooks or you can screw the base onto a tripod or other camera type mount.I really could find more than just 2 minor gripes with the light. It is not waterproof, only water resistant. So don't go dunking it in the river and expect it to keep working (rain should be ok). The other is that the test unit I received had 2 of the battery level LEDs which would not light. You can see this in the photo, the battery was fully charged but only 2 of the LEDs light. The unit seems well made and rugged, so I think this is just a rare instance, which I returned immediately to Amazon and I am waiting for the replacement. I will test it further under more conditions and add my findings to this review.PROS:- Extremely bright- Many modes, color temp control- Red LED- Ability to use as a power bank (8,000mAh)- 4 mounting options- Glow in the dark ring- Shockproof, Water resistantCONS:- Heavy, but understandable given the capacity and brightness- Not waterproof, only resistant, but that would make it more expensive- Price higher than some similar models, but certainly tougher. Worth it.RECOMMENDATION:While certainly not for ultralight camping, this is a great option for keeping in the car as a worklight,to use in car or bike camping, or as an area fill light for video shots, as you can freely adjust brightness as well as color temperature, which is a feature seldom seen in worklights and even less for this price. I would consider this in the pro-sumer category and it is priced accordingly.Definitely recommended.

Excelente light in the max brightness battery don't last long, the magnets should be stronger.

The unit arrived with 20% charge. It took about 2.5hrs to fully charge.The magnet is strong and the legs hold the lamp in various positions. The balance is ok. I'm not a fan of the plastic click of the legs, but only time will tell if it's going to be a problem.The light is bright and being able to set the color temperature is a nice feature. The instructions fail to mention the relationship between light color temperature, light intensity and battery longevity. As I bought it for work, I doubt I will ever have a need for the strobe feature.It is a good work light. Decent price and nice features.
