Dragon Age: The World of Thedas Volume 2

Useful
I mean... I didn't read all of it... I'm not that interested in the Chant of Light and all that. I read about Andraste though and I guess it was interesting but really it made me understand what the hell they're on about in the games. I read all about the different types of character because I wanted to know that more.Mostly though I read about the Hero of Ferelden and the companions, and the Inquisitor and the companions. Note that I missed out the Champion of Kirkwall because I've never seen a more boring group of people. It was written in a very clever way that must have taken the longest time. I say this because in the game certain decisions affect who character's become and therefore would change what the book said about them, but it was written in a way that didn't point out those decisions but still summed up the character. E.g. in Dragon Age: Origins you can make Alistair the King of Ferelden, or you can make him stay a Grey Warden, or you can have him exiled or killed. Those are big factors that could affect the written narrative of Alistair but they somehow managed to do it. This was even more important because obviously that decision affects the following games, as Alistair either appears as a Grey Warden or the King in Dragon Age 2 and in Inquisition. It was probably a tad expensive for what I got from it (£20) but I'll definitely keep it and when I play the other games I'll look back to it.

Love love love
Everything dragon age in one big book. And by big book I mean huuuuge! Fantastic artwork and loads of information on the lore of Thedas. Alot you will have read in codex throughout the games but it's so good to have it compiled all into one place. It makes a good read as long as you have the strength to hold this big boy up.

Good for all Dragon Age fans!
I had the Volume 1 and wanted to complete my collection. I love the lore of the game, and this satisfies the needs for nerding out about my favorite fictional universe. Beautiful images, lots and lots of text, well made book all around!

Pleasantly surprised by the quality and size
AMAZING PRODUCT. Good quality pages, the binding is well done and the cover is really hard. I highly recommend it to everyone, be it a saga fan or not. The book arrived safe and sound and properly wrapped. Same goes for the other 2 books (The World of Thedas Volume 1 and The Art of Dragon Age). Dark Horse really outdid it with these books. I don't have much to say that hasn't been said by others here. 10/10 would recommend.Sidenote: the book is quite bulky and rather heavy. If you are considering buying it abroad, like I did, make sure you leave some free space in yor luggage specially for it.
