Lavinslichy Stove
Only 4 stars because have not tried it out yet, but it looks fine so far. It actually came with all the bits and pieces in the picture, much to my surprise. Collapsible "pocket" bellows (included) is something that these little twig-burner stoves often require. It appears that with a little "rearranging" of supplied "innards" a common Trangia type alcohol stove can be used. Adding a circular plate into the bottom of the stove, as long as it has plenty of round holes >should< allow burning of wood pellets, which is always convenient. I made such a device from a carefully cut down computer fan grating. So far, so good. Will revise report after using the stove is there is anything significant to report.

Works
It works. You have to make sure to empty all the ash out before restarting or it will not burn. Emptying only the bottom ash tray is not enough. I’ve used it a couple of times with my grand-daughter and if you’re just making a very small amount you’ll be fine. I would bring wood disc or pieces rather than collecting dry rubbish it just burns longer.

Good stove. I have attached a video showing how to set it up. It's easy.
The media could not be loaded. I have backpacked and hiked for years. I saw this camp stove and asked Amazon to review it.This kit comes with a stove, a pair of cut resistant gloves, a small carabiner, a small grill, a small cable saw and a telescoping rod. I would not add the resistant gloves, and the small carabiner to my backpack. The weight of the remainder, including the bag that holds all the parts, is 1 pound and 5 ounces. This stove can use either a flammable liquid, like rubbing alcohol or small wood and twigs. The wood and twigs provide a much better fire, and it will last much longer. It took me 5 minutes to boil a cup of water with the alcohol. It took less than 3 minutes to boil it using the small pieces of wood and twigs. The fire also burned much longer. Some reviewers complained that they couldn’t figure out how to use this. I have put together the attached video that shows the different ways to put it together. It’s pretty simple.I have always used a gas stove in the backcountry. After seeing how this worked, I would be tempted to take it over my gas stove. I have a whisper stove that weighs about 7 ounces. Add a pint of white gas and we are talking about 2 pounds. With this stove, I would always include a cut of rubbing alcohol as a fire starter and in an emergency for the primary fuel. There are several negatives of this stove over a small gas stove. This stove gets much dirtier than a gas stove. It wouldn’t matter as much if you were going to be in the same place most of the time. The other problem is finding fuel that will burn. This stove works great if you have a lot of dry fuel. I know there are people who don’t have problems using wet fuel. I just don’t happen to be one of them.KEEP SOMETHING FIREPROOF UNDER THE STOVE. I can’t emphasize this enough. You will notice there are holes at the bottom that hold the wood and twigs. When your fire burns a little bit, small embers and coals can fall out onto the ground. In fact I found when I used an accelerant there were twigs that went through the holes that I hadn’t noticed, and they were the first to burn. There is a telescoping rod that is included in the kit. It has several very useful functions. First, you can use it to take a lid off a very hot pot. It can also be used as a tube where you can blow air on a small area of fire to start it. I actually thought that was pretty cleaver.I really like this stove. It has so many practical uses. Sure you can use it when you go backpacking or car camping, but I think that it could be important if you lost power in your house for days. It is a great way to heat water. Just remember to be careful because this is fire. You shouldn’t use it inside and remember to put something fireproof under it.

Versatile, lightweight if you only pack the components you will need/use
Camping Stove, Backpacking Stove, Portable Stove Wood Burning Stove Stainless Steel for Outdoor Survival Camp Hiking Traveling Picnic BBQ with Grill Grid, Wire Saw, Anti-scald Gloves. This little stove has a lot of versatility. It can be used with biomaterial, sticks etc.. or solid fuel tablets, or liquid fuels such as alcohol stoves. You can use the pot holder top or you can use the grill plate. The total package (including gloves, pocket chainsaw, bellows) weighs in at 23.1oz (636 gms). Which is not a lot for all the different combinations and versatility. If you were using this for backpacking you would probably only take the components needed. So the 23.1 ozs is a weight you will never carry unless you are going to live off grid and give up on people.Perhaps if you have an alcohol stove you would only pack the pot holder which weighs in at 4.1 oz/112gms. That is a very lightweight cooking system. If you plan on grilling with fire wood the components to do that weight in at 11.5oz/326gms.The actual main body for use when wood burning in double wall construction (to burn hotter by burning combustion gases) this is not just a simple fire box Stove that burns sticks. This is a well made comprehensive, versatile set at a low price.Thank you for reading my review and looking at my photos of this product. I hope you found it helpful!REVIEW PHILOSOPHY: I only review a product if it is something I am capable of critically evaluating through comparison, testing and use. This means I have experience of using similar items; or that I have equipment or tools that I can test it with; or that I have an upcoming need so I can actually use. I am as selective about getting an item to review as I would be about purchasing that same item, so yes, I expect it to be a good product. My reviews are NOT based on packaging or if it was delivered timely.

Works great!
We took this camping and finally had a real world use for it.The first time I used both rings and a sterno to just keep some food I cooked over a fire warm. The second time it was to boil water for coffee, also using sterno. This time with only the upper ring so the flame was much closer to the pan.It feels sturdy and for storage all fits into the lower ring which is about 6 inches tall.
