Okay, Around the Fur isn’t just an album—it’s a full-blown mood. Like, windows down, hoodie on, sun setting, and you’re just gone on the highway kind of vibe. It’s raw, loud, and weirdly beautiful. Chino’s vocals go from whispery ghost to full-on scream therapy in 3 seconds flat, and somehow it works.Perfect for when you’re mad for no reason, sad but don’t want to cry, or just need to feel like the main character in a coming-of-age movie with a killer soundtrack. The guitars are fuzzy and grungy, the drums hit like your heart when your crush walks by, and the whole thing feels like a chaotic dream in the best way.10/10 would blast during a late-night drive just to feel something.

Around the Fur was released during Deftones' nu metal days before they delivered their avant-garde opus White Pony and were still sinking their feet into the alternative metal scene. This album may not be their best but it's still an all around fantastic album with intense guitar melodies and raw production. Chino Moreno's vocals are some of the best in metal, ranging from eerie whispers to tortured melodic singing to head splitting screaming. As soon as the drums and the guitars burst through on 'My Own Summer', this album just grips you and excites you with ten tracks of nu metal brilliance. A powerful record from one of the best metal bands ever and a must own.

CD was in perfect quality and sealed. Took one start off because there was a slight crack in the jewel case. Amazing album!
