I was very disappointed with this OBD2 diagnostic tool, when I fitted it to my car I was able to connect to it using "torque lite app" but when I tried to read faults tool would not connect to ECU. I contacted the seller and they said to load the software from the disc that came with the device on to my phone, but I could not work out how, but the problem was with the diagnostic tool to car interface not tool to phone. So after a poor response from the seller I decided to return tool for a refund. (Jaguar X-Type 2.0D)

Prompt delivery, but will not connect to my BMW ECU. Tried multiple apps on iPhone, downloading programmes to my Mac and to a PC laptop. Spent hours on it last night. Tried all different combinations of key position. Read every forum on the internet for help. It wont connect to my car. Tried it on a VW Polo and it connects to that ECU straight away, but despite a 2004 BMW 525d apparently being OBDii compliant, it won't work with it.

The actual reader is ok. Have tried two android apps and they are connecting without any issues. be carefull to check if your car ECU actually supports the features that are available in the app, as the older cars will not support live data readings.

Had to try several apps but got it working in the end. Did what I wanted it to do.

Connected Bluetooth to my android 7 very easily. Reading codes from my Merc so well pleased.
