Good little clamp should last for years for a diy'er
Clamps adequately but could be slightly better, pieces of work being held together can still move if you're not careful. But overall happy with them.

Light as a feather Clamp in a FLASH
Just bought the one to see if I liked it, and I think they will be great. Ok so we are not talking winding down a G clamp to it crushes the wood, I am talking quick one handed, get it held in place, when your working on your own, or up a ladder, we've all been there, you could have six of these in your tool pouch and you would hardly know they were there

Decent pressure but you can’t use them one-handed
They put out quit a fit of clamping force but I prefer the one-handed clamps.

Handy Clamps
These are great quality and fast to use. The rachet mechanism works well. Much more useful then screw clamps and have reasonable holding power for gluing and holding tasks. So good, I ordered more.

Seriously FLAWED
Despite how nice they look these are AWFUL to work with. There is no way of clamping these with one hand (something my Irwin clamps are Excellent at!), as you have to hold the sliding bar firmly with one hand before you pull the ratchet lever, which requires another hand. If you haven't got full pressure on the workpiece they simply don't clamp at all! The lever Only works to set the clamp, and cannot be used to bring the jaws closer and closer until they meet. Also they ratchet should allow you to decide how much pressure to apply, but if they aren't completely locked on they will fall off. This means you can't clamp lightly unless you can hold the bar at the Exact place...BESSEY, this is Ridiculous! These simply don't work as woodworking clamps should, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves for releasing this product to market!I thought Bessey was a reputable company, but this has me baffled.Try as I might I cannot get on with them. When I have found a place to use them if I leave them clamped for any length of time they will come undone and fall off the workpiece! My first clamps were Rolson (rubbish), and they worked better than this!!!I don't know what they were thinking when they made these, but it wasn't woodworking. I'm going to sell mine and replace them with something better as they are a waste of space in my workshop.Look great, but don't work properly!
