I bought this because I couldn't fly my drone in bright sunshine because of the glare. This does a good job shading the sun and makes viewing the screen very easy to see. I will recommend this to my friends

One suggestion. Reference the Velcro fasteners that hold the "wings" during storage, the fasteners were so secure that considerable force was used to separate when unfolding. I had to reglue two fasteners. Use stronger glue.

collapses down to a very slim size. you just attach the base to the controller with 2 included screws.

Does a perfect job

It folds up conveniently and it works great for blocking the sun. Unfortunately, it also blocks the signal a bit, making me lose connection to the drone at shorter distances.

A good product

I'm sure this is perfectly fine with the regular DJI RC, but it does NOT fit the new DJI RC 2 that has the built in antennas & comes with the new Mini 4.

Great piece of kit, fits the controller perfectly and feels like it'll stand up to a fair bit of usage.The fact that it folds up and fits in the fly more case is perfect and leaves a few other sunshades in the dust, if you can carry everything in one bag that's always so much better.Another great feature is it's ability to bend to any angle you need - surprisingly useful when trying to keep that screen in the dark. And when you're done just pop off the hood and you can pack it all away - you can leave the plastic element attached to the controller for speed of setting up next time.I can't see many ways in which you could improve the design to be honest, it's black velvet interior helps with reflections, I just with the DJI controller screen was overall less reflective. But I'd def receommend this piece of kit.

Für die DJI Mini 3 Pro habe ich diese Sonnenblende bestellt, um auch bei Sonnenlicht den Display gut ablesen zu können.LIEFERUMFANG/QUALITÄT:Die Sonnenblende kommt zusammengefaltet. Dabei ist noch ein Clip und zwei Schrauben, sowie ein kleiner Schraubendreher.Die Blende macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck. Sie ist aus PU-Leder. Außen grau, innen schwarz (zum abdunkeln).Der Clip besitzt die gleiche Farbe wie die RC und ist aus Hartplastik.MONTAGE:Den Clip schraubt man mithilfe der zwei Schrauben an der RC fest. Es gibt dazu auch eine Videoanleitung hier auf der Produktseite.Danach steckt man die Blende einfach in den Clip und faltet diese auseinander. Das geht alles sehr einfach und schnell.FUNKTION:Die Blende tut ihren Dienst wunderbar. Sie dunkelt bei Sonnenlicht den Bereich des Displays perfekt ab.Sie lässt sich zudem durch das Stecksystem sehr leicht demontieren und zusammenfalten. Zusammengefaltet ist sie sehr klein und passt in jede Drohnentasche.FAZIT:Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Sonnenblende und kann diese nur weiterempfehlen.

I thought this was very expensive given there are some on Ebay for 15quid (identical) but these were coming from China and I didn't want the possible 6 week wait. The seller kindly refunded some to make it cheaper so a thanks for this and just to note this has not influenced the rating.The hood folds up flat but a couple of flaws. The inside is a black felt, which is going to get pretty dirty because when folded this felt is on the outside. Probably worth keeping the plastic bag to put it in when storing in your bag.A fitting bracket needs to be attached - this can be left on as it's screwed in. However, I was not keen on the idea that the bracket covered the antenna holes and so could affect the range of the signal.Despite the seller telling me there the signal loss was negligible I nevertheless cut out the necessary holes. Note some versions of this hood actually have the cutouts.All in all the hood seems to do the job, I haven't had a chance yet to try it out in anger but it appears to be good as long as when you are looking down at the screen you angle it so the reflection is of the black felt.I also bought some anti-glare screen protectors too.
