No real complaints
I’m actually kind of impressed….its NOT too heavy. (Where it sinks using the petri feather effect, so much so it causes a BLOB in the front), and with the range of colors, they make ANY color I use absolutely sparkle! I ordered the resin “translucent” pigment, since I had no complaints about these, and was SORELY disappointed. But I would recommend these for sure!!!

Good for beginners
I'm new to using alcohol inks, so this was an inexpensive set for me to practice with. The set has a good variety of colors. It comes with twenty 10 ml. bottles of ink and three pushpins to open the bottles. The pushpins are bright orange and easy to find if you drop them. The colors look vivid in the bottle, and they look okay on paper, not dazzling. In all fairness, though, I didn't have the right paper, but I used the smoothest, least porous paper I could find, which was a piece of photo matte paper. I used a regular drinking straw to spread it.Make sure you shake the bottle thoroughly, or it just comes out as gross liquid with little oil slicks of pigment. Also, it rubs off like crazy. For under twenty dollars, though, I got to try out alcohol inks. I don't think it's a great medium for me, but at least I didn't spend a ton of money figuring that out.

Great colors, work well for resin crafts
Love the metallic colors. Lots of options and they work really well for resin crafting. Easy to use and mix and match.

Great alcohol ink
I use it for painting the inside of glass bottles for different witch craft projects. It's also great for christmas ornaments and it makes beautiful glass baubles. If you put alcohol ink inside tiny glass jars and glue the cork in you can make dangly decoratins for your window that shine pretty in your room I highly suggest it.

They mix well and a little goes a long way, but the color rubs off too easily
This set comes with 20 different colors, and I have had success blending them to create my own custom colors. A few drops seem to go a long way, and the colors really shimmer. I bought these inks for a specific art project and am not using them as dyes. Rather, I am drawing directly on art paper. Perhaps they work better as dyes for resin, so I don’t want to fault them too much for not working as I wanted them to.The set comes with pins to pierce the bottles, but I found the pins bent easily. Also, one bottle that I pierced squirted ink too easily, and I don’t want to be wasteful. I had to shake the bottles more than other paints in order to get the metallic bits to mix well with the liquid. While I was pleased with the color and effect I achieved, I am miffed that three days after starting my piece, most of what dried came up off the paper when I touched it (see photo). I see no way of completing my project if I cannot touch any part of it that I have already drawn on.I do like the colors, so I will pick up a sealant to finish use with them in the future. I hope this works so my art is a bit more permanent!

Not bad
Works okay for my resin projects. Fairly messy so gloves are a must. The colors are nice but nothing extra special.

just ok
I tried these inks out on alcohol ink paper (non-porous). (This is my first time using alcohol inks so this is all an experiment for me). I was hoping to make some fun abstract postcards. The metallics in them are prominent, but I felt the colors weren't super concentrated. They separated and I didn't love how they blended together. After drying, if you touch the paper the metallic powder just comes off (see photo).I suppose these would be better used mixed into something like resin.
