So Cheap You Can Lose Them
My wife and I both use reading glasses because we have reached that vintage where the old MK1 eyeballs have done their best but have gone into partial retirement. Needless to say once past the 3ft arm stage we both ended up with reading glasses. And that's fine. Both my wife and I went to the opticians or whatever they are called now and splurged on proper glasses which I considered selling my kidney to pay for. Of course the reality is that they were no better than Boots own but vanity still had a place.Fast forward a couple of years and whilst we still have 'decent' glasses the truth is that probably like most people needing glasses for reading there's never a pair handy where you need them. So we buy cheap stuff and scatter them.My wife bought these for herself and they work admirably. I guess they probably don't match the levels of a £200 quid pair of rip-offs but they are cheap and if/when they get lost or broken no big deal. The lenses are clear and no distortion that either one of us noticed. And yes either one of us because of course it's also inevitable that I can never find one of my pairs so I usually grab whatever is to hand...my missus is not impressed.Made well and to be honest I doubt that anything costing multiple times more is much better. Overall great bum basic glassed to scatter around for easy use.

Clear view
Brought these for my friend who is always loosing theirs specs. They loved the design and the feel of the frame when on. They have pairs in all the important rooms now. Definitely worth the price.

"Super-Budget" specs but don't let that put you off...I love mine.
I ordered a set of these about two years ago and have just purchased another box of four as they are so useful and I like to have a set strategically placed all around the place, bedside table, car, fishing rucksack, work, toilet (reading!)etc. They are only made of plastic and appear quite flimsy but what do you expect for £2 each and if you are careful with them they will last well enough; I have only purchased more as my work pair broke this week, the others are still going strong. The work ones get the most use and still lasted over two years (expenditure; £1 per year!) I only have experience of the +3.50 magnification but find these great for reading and doing intricate close up things....looking at my phone, tying fishing hooks on, viewing my tablet etc. The one thing I do not find them useful for is viewing my desk top computer, I tend to sit further back from the screen, probably too far away for these as they are really just for close up stuff.I tend to keep a pair balanced on top of my head at all times, I don't wear glasses normally, except for prescription reading glasses, which I use for the desk top, so these are fine for when I am doing things close up. They are comfy enough to wear for reasonable lengths of time and I have a pair balanced on my head for an 8 hour shift at work without any discomfort at all.One thing I notice with new pairs is that they initially may feel "not quite right" like one lens is higher than the other one and you need to move them about a bit until they feel balanced, for want of a better word, but once you've adjusted the fit they are fine.I did have an eye test about six months ago and I confessed to the optician that I mostly use £2 readers from Amazon, expecting him to berate me for this sin. He raised no objections and effectively said, well, if they work for you, fill your boots (crack on). They may not be everyone's cup of tea and when you pick them up you can tell they're singularly "budget" specs but if that doesn't bother you and you want to be able to have a pair all around the place then I'd say try them...at two quid a pop, you can't go wrong. As previously stated, I only have experience of the strongest magnification, which is a lot stronger than my prescription reading glasses, but I'd say get a slightly stronger pair than you think you need. I am super happy with this product and would be lost without them..hence 5 stars.
